Senior activities, water aerobics, indoor track
I really enjoy the Water Aerobics, the instructors are great, and compared to the previous Y that I used to go to the water pressure and the showers is awesome
Prevention Diabetes Class. Anna and Kim are awesome, open pool hours in the morning, seated ellipticals, eGYM
convenient and helpful
Plenty of work out equipment, no time limit on how long you can work out, instructors to help you with strengths
I particularly like pickleball and my wife loves the water aerobics. There are machines we like to work out on and we use the running track alot
ZUMBA, WATER AEROBICS, THE TRACK IS MY FAVORITE
I really appreciate the time that you guys open. It’s great to get in at 5 AM and be able to start my workout with enough time to complete it. The equipment is generally in good condition and I find the staff very friendly and welcoming, and ready to resolve any issues or questions that I may have.
Let's start with the atmosphere. I have always felt comfortable and welcomed from the check-in desk and beyond. I've connected with other members and we enjoy using the equipment together along with conversations of support during the workout, and speaking about family. The laughter we share makes me look forward to coming as often as possible.
If I could please make one request: It would be fantastic if there was at least ONE more recumbent elliptical on the wellness floor.
The water aerobic instructor on Monday and Wednesday is excellent.
Nice people and a lot of equipment to work on
There is programming activities for every age group. Love the variety of activities for Seniors.
Kierra assisted me with suggestions for upper body weights as I recover from knee surgery. Very professional and knowledgeable!!!
Friendly
I am vision impaired, and I feel that the ortho Wyndi YMCA is a vision, impaired friendly facility for the most part.
I found it to be clean with friendly staff who accommodate the needs when I ask.
I appreciate the equipment being spaced out to the evening with vision impairment you can get between to use them.
I suggested to some staff members that they may want to consider a program for people that are visually impaired in their caregivers given that most vision impaired people are not a good shape and could use some basic physical exercise, even if it’s just walking the track.
The variety and the ability to taylor my own fitness routines from machines to free weights and classes.
Nice equipment, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff
Loved how Coach Melissa interacted with the kids in the Tumbling class
I have actually enjoyed the puzzle on the table this last week. I only use the machines and walk but have played pickleball
Convenient and consistent lap lane pool hours.
Your women’s locker room is the cleanest of any Y I’ve been to in multiple states, thank you to Miss Lorraine!!!
I only attended one event recently, line dancing. Other than that I am not a member of your YMCA. You are too far away for me to attend there regularly.
I love lap swimming the most, as well as fitness classes by Pam. Sometimes it's hard to find time in my day to get there, but I keep my membership to make sure I can go when I find the time. I also love the atmosphere at this Y--it truly feels like community. It's a very positive vibe, with people of all ages and races all doing positive things for their own health and their families. I love it there.
A variety of programs for all age groups, seniors, youth, etc.
Love the Les Mills Classes!
The water aerobics schedule offers lots of variety for class times and instructors. The staff is dedicated to providing a clean vibrant atmosphere to engage in community and health focused workouts.
Very good water exercise classes. I have tried several different ones and enjoy each different instructor. Lots of variety with aerobic, mobility and core work . Really geared to all abilities . Instructors and participants very friendly and welcoming .
I came for lap lane swim. It doesn't require registration which is so convenient comparing to my home Y at the Hendricks regional hospital of Avon. But it doesn't have sauna which is a little disappointing. Otherwise it's perfect.
Your Shallow water instructor, Donna, is great!!
I love the Chair yoga class with Caitlin. I drive 45 minutes to take class

I just started coming to this facility so haven't used the pool yet but will come to aqua classes in the near future. I'm impressed that everyone is so pleasant and the facilities are clean and lovely. I have only attended one class. I was impressed with the Wed 7pm Cardio Dance class with Sharon, however, due to eye cataracts I had trouble seeing on the way home so will have to wait until spring when the sun sets later to return. My not returning had nothing to do with the class. It was hard but I really enjoyed the instructor and attendees were kind. In the meantime, I like to use the stationary bike and enjoy watching tv while exercising...then walking the track.
