We've only used the pool up to down and joined because we wanted more water during the winter months that has not always been the case we were told it would be 82 all year round and there were days where it was practically 76 Fahrenheit but all in all we enjoy it however I have made multiple requests comments and asked someone to look into how the YMCA in Venice can find a way to link the freedom health care benefits prepaid card which is a MasterCard to be used at the facility since the YMCA in Bradenton is allowing it directly but not Venice not sure why this has not been made possible since we have already been no on our second year with the YMCA Venice and need to ask every month for the bill to submit it for a refund with our nation's benefits if somebody could look into that that would be great thank you
Variety of classes. Instructors who realize how that they are mostly teaching the older generation

I love the variety of Group Ex classes; awesome Personal Trainers; super Aquatic programs; and super Front Desk Folks!
Classes
I love the classes provided. Good amount of machines to use. The class instructors are all great & qualified. I like that the Y is clean and not too cluttered. It's great to have massages & red lite therapy available on site.i especially enjoy being surrounded by people my same age.
Only 2 disappiintments: 1) Pickleball and 2) no Tai Chi classes available.
Outdoor pool
I enjoy the group fitness classes. I’m glad a few are after work hours so I can attend. Pilates Mat and Zumba are fun.
Variety of classes and equipment
I like almost everything EXCEPT THE ERGS (ROWING MACHINGS) NEED TI BE REPLACED BECUSE THE HAVE NO RESISTANC,

Water aerobics
They are geared to let everyone participte no matter what level they are. I like the variety of classes offered. I love the Zumba, yoga, spinning, and Pilatees. I truly miss it when I have to go up north.
Susan D is the instructor for stretch fit - meeting at 8 am or 7:45 am. She is the best ever! Gets my day off to a great start! This is a fabulous class!!!! I am leaving for the summer and I’ll miss her class terribly!
Senior Older Adult programs are great! We also get to meet some nice people.

Bonnie Judy teacher of water classes is the best. She is always prompt and enthusiastic. She gives us a great workout.
Jamisue Boges’ Pilates is the best!!

We like the gym and pool area.
We don’t like the sauna in Venice .
We better like the sauna and steambath in Sarasota.
Love the coffee in the back room. It a great gathering place for retirees after their workout. A good place to meet new friends. Staff is very nice

The free weights but really need some updates there and it would help if the people updating had an understanding of weight and powerlifting.
