I was very impressed with how everyone didn’t dismiss my concerns and requests as I brought them up. I am also very happy about how they went above and beyond to accommodate Zeke and still give him one on one time and love even though he still needs some time to adjust to boarding and didn’t quite get along with the other male dogs. The place is spotless and I was very pleasantly surprised that his blankets and bed were washed and ready to go when I picked him up! I definitely didn’t expect that! :))) Sydney and Brooke called me to keep me up to date on how Zeke was doing and what they were doing to make sure he was comfortable. We get anxious when we know our babies aren’t settled and knowing that the were giving him attention was really assuring to me and my son (his owner). I met Dawn, the manager, upon picking Zeke up and she reassured me not to give up on the idea of daycare and boarding for Zeke and that he is absolutely trainable to get along with the other male dogs with enough exposure and redirection. Honestly, everyone I had contact with (because I did check in a lot lol) was so friendly and I never felt like a bother or that my requests were being ignored. Even though we have some kinks to work out with Zeke, all in all we are very satisfied. Thanks to all! :)))

Maddy did a fabulous job grooming our Airdale dog. Beautiful cut, bathed, nails trimmed, and ears clean. Great service. Great price. Very appreciative. Will use her again.

We are fortunate to have a relationship with The Dog Stop in Richmond, VA! Since Scamp joined our family in May, he has enjoyed joining the pack for half and full-day play sessions, overnight stays, and his first grooming session. The facility is top-notch, and I encourage pup parents to take advantage of the opportunity for an impromptu tour. We were accommodated at the last minute to board our 2 dogs. We had no electricity to our home for over 24 hours and needed to leave our home and have a safe place for our dogs. It was obvious the dogs were well cared for we picked them up.

We thoroughly appreciate the patience your staff demonstrates with our dog, Gidget, who sometimes gets skiddish at drop off. You all have done a great job of allowing us to remove her collar and leash as she is sensitive around her neck. We also appreciate the opportunity for Enrichment as she seems to thrive there and enjoy it rather than being in the main portion of doggy day care. Thank you!
We left 2 dogs at The Dog Stop and went to Ireland for an entire week. I had dreaded going, because we had acquired both dogs within the last couple of months, and they are both young. One we found on the street, and the other we inherited when a dear friend died suddenly. So their lives had been upside-down, and I feared them acting out or feeling abandoned. I expected a call every day, saying, “Come get them.”
But, not only did we not get that call, but the staff had fallen in love with them. They were clean, happy and calm (for them!), and obviously had eaten well.

The groomer was amazing! I would highly recommend her and she did a great job!
Winston was tired when he got home, which means he had a good time. I liked being able to watch him during his stay. The cameras are a nice service.
Everyone is so kind. They know my Charlie as soon as she walks in the door. She loves going there and is always well taken care of!

You guys are just super quick, easy, accommodating, fun. You just seem to get "it". We like the easy in, easy out. Our dogs are always bathed, healthy and happy when we pick them up. What more can we ask for?
