Great culture, low-key way of letting kids explore different sports. Love that there are no week-day practices for younger ages.
Meet my expectations
Great staff, week organized!
Learn
My daughter really enjoys the basketball clinic at the Midlothian YMCA and a big part of it is due to Coach Rebecca Wenger. She’s great with the kids and has basketball knowledge. We tried the clinic at Shady Grove and it just was not the same experience.
I love that the programs all place values on sportsmanship and working as a team. I don't think the environment stresses student athletes out at all, which is so important when introducing kids to sports. My kids have learned so much and want to continue.
They facility is very nice, clean and offers many options. The staff are amazing!!
I love how it’s just people in the community that just want sports and fun for their kids. Such nice families and also ymca staff.
Very laid back atmosphere. No pressure and kids there to have fun. The tournament though should not combine the coed with only boy teams.
Great staff, good vibes, good kids
The programs at the YMCA are great. My boys love them and we love the diverse amount of programs offered.
The YMCA programs are an excellent way to give children exposure to new sports. Its an appropriate environment for playing and learning.
fun and we’ll run
Wonderful staff!
Great community and the staff is very supportive and interactive
I like the consistency in times, the attentiveness of the coaching staff, and the relaxed nature for early learners.
The inclusivity.
much more organized this season and our coach was great!
It was very inclusive, with instruction on how to play your best, but an emphasis on being a good teammate and sportsmanship.
Everything, all the programs are great and my kids love being at the Y.
The positivity, encouragement, and sense of community. The coaching staff is amazing and experienced.
Great soccer coaches!
God first concept, good sportsmanship and respect for each other.
coachs and the entire team are very friendly and helpful in guiding
The youth soccer ages 3-4 coach for the Grapes, Andy, could not have been a better coach for that age group. He was amazing at working with the children and making them all feel like they were part of a team. He really was organized and made the program exceptional for all. It could not have been easy trying to keep mostly 3-year-olds occupied but he did it with joy.
Great and positive experience
I felt like the season was well organized and players were given fair playing time.
My daughter loves your soccer program and has met many friends through it. The coaches are great and caring.
The fields are in great shape. There were lots of kids who were involved. Referees tried to help the kids learn rules. Our coach did a good job.

Becca is the best ever!
