Swimming pool is awesome. Lots of room for folks wanting to do laps and open area for others/families to play and enjoy the water. Always clean.

You have something for most everyone.
I thought it was incredible how my family and I could go to Camp Yomechas and rent a canoe for the hour. Our 4 year old had a blast!!
The instructors are patient and motivating
Flexible
Barre with mac, body combat with Ted, yoga with Lisa
Step, body pump, pickleball. Favorite staff: Laurie Norman, Heather Mc Carthusian, Marlene and Christopher Last name removed. Also like the option to use different sites.
we lucked out with some of these most amazing staff.
Overall it's a very good place.
I do have concerns about the language my son is bringing home (as in, not appropriate)
The other feedback and I think they're about to fix it is the gravel road needs grading/filling, also, the vegetation growth along the paved road needs to be trimmed back.
Other than that, very good and thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback.
Our 5 year old absolutely loves his his first time at Camp Yomechas. My one request for improvement would be centered around first time drop off. On his first day in rolling drop off, one of the unit heads came to our car window and checked his name off but then walked away, leaving my camper in the car without any direction on where to go to meet his counselors and without any instruction for me as to where to drop off medications for the nurse to administer to my camper. I got out of the car and looked around for someone to ask but there was no one around to ask. At this point I was holding up the line so I pulled over to a little parking lot near the horse rings and ended up walking my camper over to the circle where the colored benches were. None of the counselors had him on their list but told me that he could stay with them until they figured out where he should be. It was a little unsettling. But I left him and he did end up having an amazing first day and continued to have SO much fun for the rest of his week. The nurse did find him and his medications. So everything worked out. But I would just suggest maybe having a separate parking area for all first time campers and parents each Monday so that we are all on the same page and avoid nervous feelings from my little camper and his mama.
Otherwise, we loved Camp Yomechas and will be back next summer.
So many activities
I love that the kids are mostly outside and all the activities.
The coaches took their time with my daughter.
Friendships, learning, confidence building, fun
My child came home happy and exhausted for 2 weeks 😃
I couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism of the staff at Camp Yomechas. They communicate any issues/concerns thoroughly efficiently, and in a compassionate manner. This is my son’s first camp experience and he’s loved every second of it. Thank you for making him feel special, safe, and happy all summer long. We appreciate you.
All the activities, the location, and all the great counselors and kids
Nice water aerobics class!
A great amount of equipment both cardo and free weighs. A track to run is a plus.
Great pools and beach access. Very clean.
I love all of the Aqua programs. They are so much fun and the lifeguards are always watching to make sure we are safe. My husband did the personal training and found an instructor that listened to his problems and worked with him. Everyone is very friendly, including the desk staff, as well as the other “Y members.
The Y offers something for everyone!
