We are a new first year customer as we installed a propane gas fired generator in July. We were very impressed with Eastern Propane during the installation process and service. Each and every person that I have dealt with has been polite, friendly, and helpful from my first inquiries to my recent installment. My only "problem" has been with figuring out the billing system: I was left a bill and return envelope after a recent delivery of propane; I wrote a check and mailed my payment that same day. A week later I received an email statement that included that amount, as well as a service fee and my quarterly tank rental fee. Should I ignore the first bill and wait for an email statement?

We are always confident when relying on Eastern Propane that the job will be done right. Besides installing the tank and being our propane provider for 26 years, we have called over the years when we installed a pool heater and a propane generator. This year, our heating/boiler had been working properly and providing heat as usual. Last week, we had an appointment to have the annual maintenance service After conducting the cleaning and service, a final check for carbon monoxide was done. Although everything looked fine, a carbon monoxide leak was detected, rendering the system unsafe. Although we were without heat for a few days until our plumber could install a new boiler, we feel fortunate to have found the problem in such a safe way. We've been telling our friends and family how important it is to get their boilers serviced yearly, even if there is no apparent problem. We are grateful that the Eastern Propane team has provided professional, reliable service for 26 years.
