Friendly staff
My kids and I used to love coming to the recreational swimming almost every night before COVID. And my husband and I loved all the wet /dry classes the Y used to run for the kids when they were young.
I was nervous about renewing my membership after COVID because the cost went up and it seemed like there weren't as many activities as before but I'm glad I did. My youngest is now 10 and I was memorized by the Y thrive training. I signed him up to a session and the trainer who introduced him to the gym made him fall in love with it. Since then, our 10 year old has been forcing the whole family to go the gym almost daily and it's been amazing!!!
I signed myself up to the Ythrive as well and I'm achy but love it and I'm planning to sign up my 14 year old as well.
The people are always smiling and friendly.
I wish there were more req swimming or maybe swimming classes geared to older kids that seem to be shying away from joining the swim classes. I'm not sure why both my kids always disliked the swim classes at the Y.

Great instructors, welcoming environment, clean facility
I have been trying to pay for my membership at ymca branch and the manager Kris Rostran is not letting me pay for it directly at ymca. He's forcing me to use automatic deposit and I told him that I don't have a consistent job since I work as a supply and I don't get payment on the same date of the month and that will cause a lot of stress because they bank charges me $48 dollars if I don't pay for it on that specific date.
I am not allowed to use ymca facilities because they don't want receive my payment.
I hope someone can fix it!

The instructors and staff are amazing. The facility is fantastic. Lots of parking! Your Aquafit programs have kept me sane while I recover from a back injury. I love Stoneycreek YMCA.
I love the swim passes and the availability of times to attend.

The Y has different programs that matches members different interest. Also, offering activities during different times over the day help as we all have different available time for workouts.

Something for everyone. Completely inclusive. Throughly the years I have been an employee as an ECE in the childcare centres in Chatham ON., Here in London as a volunteer and participant. I am proud to be part of the Y. Thank you to the Y staff at Stoney Creek. They have been more than accommodating on my return after a knee injury. It is great to be back.

I haven't partaken of all you have to offer but I hope to in the near future. Love everything about the "Y" people are so friendly and helpful. Being close to home is another plus for me.
