Well organized programs
Excellent facility & Good programmes
My son with autism goes to the gymable program . These people are awesome with him! I have gone through programs for autistic kids with adults who have gone to school specifically for working with kids with disabilities and the ymca stoneybrook staff have been better with him then any of them. I couldn't be more thankful for their patience and kindness towards my son . They all deserve a raise .
Great instructors and beautiful facilities
On time - great instructors
Children have time to play with other children
I only attend Aquafit at the Y. After a recent closure of the pool for maintenance when I went elsewhere for Aquafit, I appreciate how fortunate we are at the Stoney Creek Y to have the instructors we do. Even small things like the music/sound system, equipment available, etc. are superior at the Y.
There’s a wide variety of programs for all ages which is great. Staff and members are so friendly and approachable.
Your pool and ability to buy pool pass.
The amazing instructors and fun fitness classes. Brenda at the Sunningdale branch is wonderful!!!
I love the group classes because the instructors are inspiring and personal and they make you feel like you belong.
The staff at the front desk are always great, the facility is so modern and accessible as well!
Very good.
I enjoy the Pickleball courts and the 3 hr long open play.
I like open and lane swim . Also love that you have a track inside to walk so you don't have to use just the treadmill.
Senior aquatic exercise
I just use the aquafit classes
I really enjoy the aquafit and water walking and gentle joints sessions. The leaders are amazing and the price is great!
Aquafit
First time expierence. Very positive -Extremely clean and friendly
The staff are amazing. The aquafit instructors do a fabulous job. I do aquafit and lane swimming 5 x a week 5 days a week. Unfortunately the last many months I had been unable to go to the aquafit as I had a rare cancer that was super agressive. Spindal Cell Sarcoma. I didn’t give up and the pool gave me me a purpose to keep fighting. I was in Victoria hospital, University hospital and St. Joes. The good news is thank you dear Doctors and Nurses. The care these three hospitals gave is Gold medal. First name removed
Instructors are great. Clean change rooms. Staff are very accommodating
I lik AquaFit very much
Gentle yoga
the interaction, and strength building
Lots of options for my kids who have very different interests
The programs are amazing. The structures are friendly and welcoming.
Love aquafit. Really missed it and glad it is back open. Everything looks so fresh and clean.
Water has been quite abit cooler since returning. New guy (genal manager of pool) they have is really stubborn about believing pool temperature being too cool especially for people who have arthritis where their joints work much better with water being warmer. He has tried to tell us who have been taking Aquafit for many years that the temperature is 85.5 which is baloney. Feels more like 80. His temperature gun must be broke. Need thermometer that hangs in the pool. Also needs new sound equipment that works properly and does not stop playing for water exercise classes.
I have also told general manager of the Y that 3-5 " of new dirt needs to be added to the flower beds at the first entrance to parking lot and in front of entrance to building so flowers can grow and roots of trees can be covered.
Would appreciate warmer water and better sound system for sure.
Thanks.
