Exercise classes
I love the instructors namely Barbara and Leanne and I love their classes. I’m happy with the equipment but obviously wish we could have a new facility.
I have been a member of the Y for many years because of the number of activities and flexibility of classes available. I love the group
Classes and most of all the water aerobics available for us señor people that have a number of aches and pains to deal with. I am thrilled that you have open classes now instead of having appointments. It made it hard to attend when classes were already full.
So thank you for that.
Also appreciate your lower fees which make it easier to attend on our small budget!!

Would like to see scales in fitness center and locker room calibrated regularly. I must say that since the new administration I see a termendous improvements that where long over due Looking forward to continued improvements.

I love the clean facilities (especially the pool), the convenient hours, the friendly staff, and the great location.
I think the 'Y' is the best exercise value in all of Manatee County!
I do water aerobics. Like to workout hard to get my heart rate up. The instructors make it so you can do any level. Like the workout times.
I like being able to use the facility on my schedule and that there are classes that work with my schedule. Also, it’s one of the cleanest, friendliest places. The staff are friendly and informative, especially Ms Groome.
The staff, in addition to, friendly, courteous and professional, they appreciate our membership and are generous with their time.
The YMCA on 59th St. is always very clean, the trainers are knowledgeable and helpful and they have a variety of equipment and Classes/activities available. There are hours are good
Group Ex has lots of great workout opportunities. The instructors are knowledgeable and offer modifications for all levels of participants. Personal training is amazing. Very skilled at evaluation and planning for clients. Love the opportunity to play Pickleball and look forward to growing with this sport.
I love the availability of the Aqua aerobics classes. The instructors are great too

There are a variety of options to get the kids engaged, my children like the staff, the environment is not nearly as intimidating as a typical gym.
Pool is great and all the staff. I was on the first board and drafted the corporation document filed with the secretary state.

EVENING WATER AEROBICS CLASSES... feel free to add more days, like we used to have.
There are many activities to choose from and I especially like the chair exercises as I have a knee replacement. The gym area is well equipped and there is always someone available if
you need any help.
