Everything, unfortunately many senior exercise classes are over overcrowded. Additional classes would be appreciated.
Friendliest staff & lots of fun class options
The people that lead the classes are enthusiastic and energetic. Front desk is friendly and happy to help. Facility is clean. I love my “Y”!
I would recommend people that I play pickleball with to come to open play. They come and can’t believe the quality of the nets and lighting in the indoor pickleball courts. They won’t play at the LWR Y Pickleball program. There are nicer indoor courts w better Pickelball nets on a roller device where you store them setup. The LWR YMCA is not dedicating a budget towards developing a pickleball program. They feel the children’s camp program/Sports is revenue producing for the location. The amount of retired individuals who have a membership want this open play option w their current membership. We are forced to play elsewhere bc of the equipment and facilities. The gym is not cleaned on a regular basis after sports tournaments. This LWR location needs to have a budget assessment evaluation to keep Pickleball continued at our LWR location..I invite YMCA management headquarters to come see this location and how it is managed. It’s not like other YMCA’s that already have rolling Pickleball nets in East Bradenton area. Please investigate this location.

Haven’t participated in any. Just go to work out.
Love the personal training. Other than that I simply work out there and don’t participate in activities or programs. It’s a great gym, friendly, roomy and exactly what I like.

The place is awesome it's got everything going for it people are nice environment is healthy clean you got kids running around at times and you got everybody else in between I came in today and watched a bunch of young men play basketball I was going to work out on the treadmill but I was so entertained by their playing that I went and sat in the bleachers and watch them have at it, totally awesome. Plenty of programs to participate in. Keep up the good work, peace be with you.
Really appreciate that Jen and Nicole have listened to what the members want and are gradually shaping up the exercise schedule back to what it was a year ago.

We have a great selection of classes for every age and fitness level. We also have the greatest instructors I've ever had at any gym.
I like the classes as you learn from the instructor how to properly do the exercises and the reasons for doing them the proper way.

I absolutely love All programs and activities! Perhaps what I love most is the ability to keep evolving when needs and Interests arise! We started playing basketball for the ymca which then grew into an additional basketball travel team. Still, what makes my heart sing the most is knowing how many amazing Christian mentors are available for all my children no matter the ages. Forever grateful that my boys have male role models that I trust and that we all feel comfortable talking to about life.. The goood, the bad, and everything in between!! We are grateful for all the support and growth both on and off the court! We Are family❣️I am most grateful for the family we have come to know and share life with.💝
