YMCA offers a variety of fitness programs from early morning to late afternoon. I have been doing Zumba , Zumba toning, yoga. They have all been fun, very helpful, and with wonderful instructors.
YMCA has a beautiful and clean facility and all the staff are friendly, supportive and encouraging!
I personally don't participate in any of the programs, I just like all the wide variety of all the equipment and a chance to go down to the gym on weekends and run around,and shoot basketball. And the aquatics are good, in fact most all if not all the competition doesn't even have any. My wife is still frustrated though ,trying to sign up for cycling and programs and it seems they're always full. And people get very territorial about the bikes and for that matter other equipment around the y like they own it or something! I think there needs to be a notice that you don't own the equipment it is the property of the Y, and if you leave it then you're leaving it wide open for somebody else to come and use it! Instead of somebody coming up to my wife or me and yelling at us, that they were using that equipment and we need to get out of their way! Really?
We use the gym and an occasional class. Well equipped machines but some are quite old.

The classes, instructors, and trainers
We are new and are trying many of the classes. We enjoy them all and find the teachers to be great. We appreciate how clean it is.
They are geared to all ages. I.m 77 an like water aerobics an chair exercise. Use machines if I want...got coffee , snak machines an rest tables. I think it's a great facility!
