The people and the expertise
A wide variety of programs and activities to choose from. Upstairs track is an excellent feature to be able to use.
Everyone is friendly and people seem to be at the YMCA for their health and fitness. Dedicated.
Excellent line dancing classes with Charles and Margaret Grubbs as instructors.
The pool is clean. The locker room showers need to be inspected more often as some ladies leave hair which grosses me out.
Good availability of machines.
I primarily use the weight room. It’s clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly.
Not too crowded. Good equipment.
The Nautilus is awesome - also enjoy the after workout options - steam, sauna, hot tub & area to sun bathe. Everything is nice and clean - ladies locker room is quite nice.

Currently working on weight training with an assigned trainer, very pleased with her knowledge, experience on how to use the equipment properly
She is professional in explaining the work out and weight/reps selection

Great instructors and classes. Also fun programming that we have really enjoyed. It’s inviting, warm and friendly members/staff make it shine.
We also love the philanthropic side of what the Y does for our community.
I enjoy the variety of classes offered. My favorites are Body Pump, Pure Strength and Core. I find the classes to be effective and enjoyable. The instructors have all been helpful and encouraging.
I like the treadmills and the new weight circuit machines but wish they weren’t usually crowded when i want to use them.
Our perspective is that the Englewood YMCA is the best we have experienced

It’s hard to get into classes sometimes.
You have high standards. I like the exercise equipment.Your hours are good. And you offer a number of classes for all ages.
Something for every ability and age group.
Well organized and always offering something new. The Y never gets old—the members do, but not the offerings! 😀
