Great programs geared to older people and great instructors
The variety of classes offered.
Very organized and people are nice.
I love the group fitness classes the most. All of the instructors are excellent, inclusive and professional. They encourage us to strive to do our best and make sure we are attaining our goals.
Matthew has made a huge difference. He listens to people and when necessary tries to make changes. He has a great attitude, is welcoming and somehow remembers everyone’s names.

I love the variety of classes for all capabilities.All the instructors are friendly and explain the moves The Y is a great place to meet people
Which ones? There’s a program for everyone! I play Pickleball there and there were also people who play tennis and they have programs for quickness and agility and to build your strength up. They have workout machines, free weights, stair, climbers, elliptical, and cycling and treadmills.
The staff is fabulous. They’ll answer your questions sign you up for different programs and help you out anyway they can. Trainers are also very good. Most of all it’s just a fun place to work out. No pressure, no judgment, just fun.
I’m not a participant in any activities but
there’s a. lot being offered and most important
there’s a swimming pool for everybody and
there’s a spa also. Parents can bring their babies
or kids because there’s a nursery which is well
staffed.
Welcoming staff, great classes and a positive atmosphere! Instructors are seasoned experts who always ask if anyone is new…I love that!

The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. Lucy is a gem. Her thoughtfulness and smile are contagious. Darby sat on the floor with me in the locker room last October - my first bout with vertigo in 7 years and it slowly hit me on my way to the gym. She talked me into my first ambulance ride and first trip to the ER in my life. (I volunteer there so it wasn’t so bad and 2 IV’s of nausea meds that I couldn’t have done on my own helped a lot.)
Stanene has been an outstanding instructor and worth her weight in gold. Her expertise, caring manner, sense of humor, name/face recognition are amazing. Going to miss her and may leave Y until her return. On the fence.
I do like Deb and Rick as well…just not sure enough to stay.
It took nearly a year to recover from an injury I did on equipment. My fault - over zealous, but my nature and I’ll stay away from it.
I began with three friends and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The classes are fabulous ways for people to socialize. Important, but volunteering, golfing and other endeavors keep me busy.
