Michelle Giacola's chair yoga class is excellent. The class covers stretch, strength, and overall variety of format is a class I look forward to every Wednesday.
Deb's ballroom line dance is a great workout and lots of fun.

The instructors, Mary, Maria, and Scott are excellent. They are professional, innovative, and a wonderful group of professionals.
Good variety of programs. Love lap swimming.
I like that it's a neighborhood Y.
Fitness classes
Many programs and activities available at multiple sites at multiple times of the day.
Great variety.
I enjoy the ymca in Melrose and staff there. I have been a member for decades, and believe the gym atmosphere is welcoming and positive. In your renovations it would be great if it becomes an option to use the heavy bags which have been on the 2nd floor and non-accessible to members for free use.
Most instructors are superior.
The gym
Exercise Classes. Although it’s hard to get into them, wait list is too long.
Very friendly, the people are nice .
Just like it
Variety of activities available with excellent instructors.
I only use the gym which is very well equipped. More importantly, the staff are absolutely first rate!!!
I like the facility and Taylor is a great personal trainer
Michelle is a really great instructor, I hope you do everything possible to keep her on staff.
One slightly negative comment - the class scheduling in the 3rd floor during the renovations is annoying. Each of the classes are about an hour in length. There needs to be 15 minutes in between class end and start time.
Theoretically there is 15 minutes between the end of cycle and beginning of 9AM yoga. But it takes those people awhile to actually get off the bikes and move them off the floor. And there is no time to mop up the floor .The cycle people probably feel pushed out too quickly when they want to cool down.
Yoga can start late and has to end early becuase of the class right after it, which means we are short-changed for a class that should be 60 minutes. The 10AM class people want to come in and set up so they get an on time start - they stand in the door and window staring and rush in while yoga is trying to clean up.
I understand it is temporary, but it was something that really should have been tought through when putting together the schedule.
Love the gym and equipment and friendly staff
I have recommended so many people to the Melrose Y and they all love it just like me. I need to stop recommending as classes are getting harder and harder to get in!!
Immediate interest is winter pickleball at Melrose and partner facilities. My wife and I will also be looking into establishing training programs. So far I have been impressed with the courteous and helpful nature of the staff. The Melrose facility may be a bit dated, but very happy with the cleanliness and the current state of maintenance.
I like all the classes that you offer.
They have a big variety of different programs for all ages
Good variety, great instructors.
I really enjoy chair yoga with Michelle and line dancing with Deb.
Everything, the Atmosphere, the Excellent Staff, how well the facility is Maintained. The Melrose Y Rocks!

This is the time for my 4 year old grandson to be enrolled in the swim classes. He is excited and happy to attend each class. He appears to be doing well. The program appears to be a well oiled machine. All and all we are happy to be there and will continue with the program.
