My children love their swim lessons at the ymca. The teachers are patient, kind and make it fun. I watch the self-confidence grow each week. I also take swim lessons myself and have overcome my fear of swimming in water beyond my depth. I highly recommend the Demakes YMCA for the entire family.
The pool is wonderful!! The lifeguards are great especially Manny and the music he provides
The instructors are great with the kids and the facilities are clean. This location im particular just has a really great feeling to it. My son loves the set up and seems inspired to try other athletics now beyond the swimming we signed up for.

I've only made it to the lap pool and the steam room but love it n the staff are very helpful and friendly! The premises are impeccable, I can't believe how much this ymca has to offer though!

I would like the shower curtains to be 2 inches wider.

I love that the pool has such a wide range of hours that it's open so that I can go at almost any time.
The staff upstairs was super helpful last Thursday when I came in to run on the track and found it closed in advance of the gala (hope it was a big success!). I'd never used a treadmill (or at least not a fancy one that shows the trail you're running on) and the employee was happy to walk me through how to use the machine.
An excellent variety of exercise machines and other facilities. Clean and well kept facility overall. Respectful, helpful and well qualified staff.
