Variety of activities
I love that Achievers exposes my child to a wide group of his peers and that they get to experience events outside of their immediate peer/friend group together like the state fair, Carrowinds, college tours, etc. It gives them a different perspective and experience and helps them navigate conversations etc. outside of their comfort/friend zone, which is an important part of growing up and becoming an adult. I also like exposure to college students that come and spend time with those in the program as well as other off campus events that show these teenagers that there is more beyond where they are now, and that, yes, they too can get there.
Mrs. Lyn was awesome. This was my sons second swim class he signed up for, the first time was at a different location. My son learned more in his first session with Mrs Lyn than he learned the entire class at the other location. She made the kids comfortable immediately and was encouraging each and ever session. She corrected the kids if they weren’t doing something correctly but she was always very reassuring and positive. (Unlike our previous experience at the other location). We have signed up for another session and hope to get Mrs Lyn again!

Our YMCA is just what our area needs. I would love to see more programming and a greater campaign to bring in new customers but it's a great location, I love the YMCA community and it definitely has the family feel. The instructors are amazing and it's a great place to be!

I enjoy the group exercise classes!
I usually use the equipment rather than participate in classes. It is a very nice environment to work out in.

We have recently joined the Y with a family membership. So far, it has been a great experience. The Hayes-Taylor facility is very nice. Clean and modern. The staff there is amazing. Extremely friendly and with a small child, I love the childcare service.
I love Marcy Welch who is an amazing & awesome instructor, teacher, trainer all in one and tge various exercises she brings to the YMCA and how she encourages everyone she teaches to keep our bodies healthy!

There is something to do for everyone.
The programs offered have a variety of ways to get activity and join a community.
The actives for the kids and the elder adults are great but there is a gap for everyone in between. Which is a double edged sword. That's what makes this location standout. I do think that there can be something in place to bring the gap a little closer
They are fun and not too hard for the seniors! Helps me “keep it moving!”

Loving the staff, from the front desk to the fitness instructors. The instructors knows the members names and it just feels like home. Also the classes are the best.
