I'm a brand new member and haven't been to the Y yet to take advantage of any programs. But I am mostly interested in the water aerobics classes due to arthritis and surgery on my ankle that still bothers me. I am so looking forward to taking advantage of the classes at the Bear Levin Studer YMCA.
Please have the Warm pool a few degrees Warmer...it was like that a few years ago.
I love the Senior classes and the yoga classes
The set up is nice. The sauna and steamroom are bonuses that keep me coming!

Love all the equipment options and other options only thing is the one male lifeguard was not a good experience at pool with.

One of the Front Counter staff members went out of her way today to help me. Not only did she provide the help I needed about my membership. I had forgot my towel that visit so I could use the Pool. I mentioned I had left mine at home . She went and got me a Clean Towel to use so I was very Happy I did Not have to go home and miss my day to swim . Her name was JoAnn
That's a great person and is a very good help

Thank you to Joann who helped me get joined up and doesn't know it but will change my life. I have Multiple Sclerosis and since I moved here a year ago I have not really left home. I was a member in my previous state and bc of Joann's friendliness and helpfulness I am now a member here. YMCA not only assists the disabled with discounts but with hope strength and encouragement. Thank you just isn't enough.

I love the fact that the building is set up for handicap people and the staff is very very friendly and very helpful. I am visually impaired and I’ve always gotten plenty of help when I come there to exercise or go to water aerobics
Safe place, clean, nice
So many classes and class times available to choose from.
I have been working with Nina three times a week for four months now. In addition to being pleased with the increases in my strength and endurance I am grateful for her flexibility and empathy.
My former training buddy and I began meeting with Nina in October. Even though my friend and I were on different levels, I always felt that each of our workouts were very complete. This due to Nina’s ingenuity and planning.
This same friend has since been diagnosed with breast cancer and I have been helping her with transporting her children to and from school as she is really suffering as a result of chemotherapy. Nina has worked with me in regard to my schedule, ensuring that I got in my three weekly workouts even though my friend may text me needing support in the early morning hours resulting in the need for last minute changes. Not only has she been flexible but infinitely kind in her empathy for my friend and her situation.
Nina is firm, but not aggressive. She doesn’t push me beyond my limits, but I improve every session. Honestly, at the risk of being dramatic I feel like she brought me back from the dead.
While I am grateful for her professionalism, Nina’s heart has had the most profound impact on me.
This has been a difficult couple of weeks to say the least. Nina has simply been a constant in a sea of uncertainty as my friend moves towards healing and I struggle to support her.
The variety of class offerings, times, instructors. Although I primarily go to mainly spinning and body pump, occasionally I will attend something different. I enjoy the fact that I can find a class to keep me moving even if my personal schedule is difficult. Also, the fee is very affordable.
The camaraderie
The group fitness classes, especially Pound with Jami and Use it or Lose it with Sharla and Wednesday night yoga with Jessica, are my absolute favorites and really the main reason why I’m a member. All of these classes have changed my life for the best!! I recommend them to all my friends! So fun and so healthy!!

Not enough water exercise classes during the 4-5 range.
The variety of classes and fitness opportunities are like no where else!Best in town!
