Student Testimonials
Loved the size of the studio! Parking was easy to find which can be a deal breaker. Will definitely be back
I've loved every yoga and yoga sculpt class at CP Redwood City. I'm grateful for the locks and lockers, the clean restrooms, the talented instructors. Ashley is soooo good - she gives great cues, provides challenging classes and modifications, and makes everyone feel welcome.
Love the big room w/high ceilings.
Doug was great! I told a bunch of my friends and they're trying his classes too.
The studio is extremely clean, well lit with natural lighting, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
I like the facilities and the teachers. The rooms for unheated yoga are very hot, making yoga difficult at times. Music is too loud. We need to be able to hear instructions
What I love about CorePower Yoga is the Yoga Sculpt class, which beautifully combines yoga with strength training exercises. The instructors are always fantastic, creating a motivating and supportive environment. This workout not only challenges me physically but also leaves me feeling calm and relaxed afterward. Highly recommend!
Amazing Teacher!
I love the facilities, the number of classes available and most of all the quality of the instructors.
Variety of class times, cleanliness, location, i structors bring own unique style to practice.
Great studio and teachers!
All the staff at CP are great people with such great attitudes. So friendly to tell me about the free classes of the month. I never thought I’d enjoy yoga as much I have been and that’s thanks to the energy at each of your locations
I like the rooms and the teachers. I do still wish for 6am Sculpt class MWF. The batteries in the bathroom clocks need replacement. The clocks haven’t worked for many weeks.
The class offering, cleanliness of this studio and the instructors are amazing.
It’s definitely well managed by Ashley.
Quality of classes and teachers
I only do the non-heat classes at Core power
Fabulous dedicated staff who are sincere in their study and sharing it, as well as being fun to be around. The facility is nice and has a good vibe !
Very clean and organized. The staff is also kind and welcoming. I have forgotten jewelry there multiple times and every time they have found it and saved it for me. It’s a great community.
Special shot out to Sydney. I have been loving her flows. Transitions from pose to pose is beautifully complex and thoughtful.
Very warm and welcoming staff. Really enjoyed the restorative yoga class. The instructor was amazing.
Reena is an awesome yoga instructor. I am still learning the different yoga poses and I really appreciate how Reena was able to coach my form without making me feel like I was singled out or put on the spot. Can't wait until my next class!
It was a big studio and very clean. Instructor Reena was super fun to learn from!
Love CPY, however I really, really would like the RWC MWF 6:15am Sculpt class to start at 6:00.
The best studio with amazing instructors
I like the spacious tall ceiling rooms. They make the classes feel a bit more comfortable despite the heat.
I enjoy EmmaD's class on Tuesday and Chase's last Friday class definitely makes my week.
I love the facility and the teachers I just wish there were more CorePower 1 or 1.5 classes
Great staff, clean and large facilities.
Reena is the best teacher
TL;DR
•	Lots of friendly, knowledgeable instructors who will challenge you to be your best while making sure the workout is accessible for everyone without judgment
• Several convenient locations available for use either at home or across the country all for the same membership price
• Multiple types of classes offered throughout the day – there is bound to be something that easily fits your schedule while providing workout variety if that is what you want
• I just completed my 62nd class in the last 66 days, many of them at the Redwood City location – I had previously taken two formal yoga classes in my life. That would not have happened without CorePower
More detailed review:
I am a reasonably fit male in my mid-fifties who has done CrossFit almost every day for the past eight years. My only real exposure to yoga in the past was through things like P90X that incorporated yoga once a week many years ago. I also complete the daily yin yoga sessions created by ROMWOD (now pliability) most days. If you had told me three months ago that I would now be going to hot yoga classes nearly every day, I would have said you were crazy.
Two of my daughters, who are in their twenties, were visiting us in early June and asked me to join them for a yoga class at a competing studio. I went and had a good workout (and even wrote them a positive online review), but it was not something I felt the need to do more of at the time. The following week, one of my daughters asked me to join her for the free week that CorePower offers. I said yes purely as an excuse to spend more time with her, not realizing how much better the style of Yoga CorePower provides makes me feel or that it would become such an important part of my daily routine.
I went to a C2 workout six times during my free week and left every single one feeling great. I enjoyed it so much that I agreed to sign up for the paid membership and have gone almost every day since then. The vast majority of the 62 classes I have taken over the past 66 days have been C2, but I have also taken a few Core Restore (these are fantastic) and even a Hot Power Fusion class (I didn’t really like this one, but I can see why some people might). I am not planning to take any Sculpt or CSX classes since I still get my strength training from CrossFit, but I think these are some of the most popular classes CorePower offers.
Like with most group exercise facilities, some of the teachers will be better than others, but I have always gotten a good workout. And the huge choice of class times and locations makes it easy to find classes being taught by the instructors you like the most at a time that fits your schedule.
I have been to three CorePower locations so far, and the Redwood City one is probably my favorite. It has two spacious studios with very high ceilings and more than enough free parking in a very convenient location.
I love the early morning sculpt classes. I would really, really like the time to be 6:00am. Us teachers need to be at school early!!😜😊. Even 16 minutes makes a huge difference.

Amazing class!! Amazing mentor Spencer!! Thank you for the opportunity. The sound bath is really healing my mental health and bringing positive energy to my soul, although there is pros and cons but it definitely helps me so much. Thank you!!
