The Whitake Family YMCA here in Hamburg is an amazing facility with a multitude of programs, exercise equipment, swimming pools, a wading pool and activities for citizens of ages. It continues to look as if it just opened because of the leadership its director, Dana Ensley, provides for the maintenance department as well as for the rest of the staff. Her positive approach to dealing with the Y clientele is reflected by all who work there as they tend to be professional, competent, and caring. We are very fotunate to have such a wonderful YMCA program and facility here in Hamburg!

I am a senior and enjoy the senior programs. I like the track and also the different exercise machines. I like the programs that are for our grand kids.
VERY much enjoy Yoga with Mary L. after a fourteen-month lapse due to no classes where I formally practiced yoga. Also, very much enjoy the Aqua Fitness Classes with Neeta on Friday mornings. Look forward to trying other classes as time moves on. Very nice facility that I am Happy to be a part of.

The location is clean and has a lot of options.
The most important thing in going to the gym and the club facilities is cleanliness. The Whitaker Family YMCA at Hamburg is pristine and has been from day one. Keep up the great work in keeping this club clean and welcoming.

It’s a fun and positive environment. Everyone employees and members are always a delight. I haven’t been able to utilize the Y as much as I would like. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience.

Many options
I enjoy the Whitaker Y as it is a very clean facility. Also, it is located fairly close to my home. Many classes and resources, equipment, walking track, swimming are available to me to keep me healthy. And very importantly, the Y accepts the Silver Sneakers program. In addition, the Y handled the COVID-19 experience exceptionally to accommodate its members. Thanks, Whitaker Y for being located in the vicinity of my neighborhood.
My husband & I love using the NuStep at our age. I personally look forward to getting back to water aerobics.
The pool and hot tub are always clean and the staff are very helpful. The Ladies locker room is wonderful!
I love the high ceilings and the floor to ceiling windows in the workout areas.

I like the variety of classes that are offered at the Whitaker Y. I also enjoy the energy that each instructor brings to class!
Exercise equipment
I have been involved in water aerobics, pickle ball, walking the track and using nueco9re oe somethingmlike that without any distractions. The staff has always been helpful and easy to work with.
Family likes all the programming and activities offered.

Good workout place
The Whitaker YMCA building is bright, open, and airy feeling. The swimming pool is large enough to accommodate the people who use it. The various workout spaces are also large enough so people aren’t squished too closely. The classes I have taken, Pilates Reformer, Pilates Mat, and Spin have been well taught.
The enthusiasm of the staff
Everyone has been extremely nice and helpful. We really just use the pool and splash pad, but they've always been very accessible to us. We're definitely continuing our membership I and I've told a few friends about it also.
