Love all the active older adult activities and classes

I am a new member so haven't experienced all the programs I'm interested in yet. The facility is wonderful, and I'm going to explore some of the classes soon. The front desk staff have been so friendly, helpful and courteous.

I have been using the weight and aerobic machines, and have just been trained on EGYM. I'm soon going to look into some of the classes, including Yoga and Pilates. I have done Body Pump at other Ys so I'm going to check that out too.

I would like to see some improvements on the three stationary bicycles that are on the right side of the workout room. Really does the TV work and one or two sound like there’s loose bolts inside rattling around.

The level of experience in the group exercise instructors is phenomenal! I have been taking or teaching aerobic classes for 30+ years and in multiple states with multiple YMCA‘s, I have seen a lot of instructors and yours at the Beaumont YMCA are incredible!

I appreciate the yoga and pirates classes, the walking track and the sauna.

The yoga classes are right next to the loud music class / Zumba or power workout. It makes the yoga classes much less effective or appealing
If possible, yoga should be in quieter location

I like getting on the exercise bike and the treadmill and the walking trail and I like to go swimming and get in the hot tub in the spring and summertime

I was just orientated on the EGYM and I am so excited about it. I love the set up, I love the machines and I think this will be a great challenge for myself. I recommend people try the EGYM.
Mikki was so sweet and understanding when she did my orientation. I did not feel judged.
