Even though I don't participate in all activities, I appreciate being able to find programs that suit me.
I use two programs, one is the weight room and the other is the indoor cycling.
I lift weights three days a week and I do Spin classes three days a week.
My weight lifting builds my bone density and strength. The spin class is building my
cardio strength and stamina.
Swimming
Have not been able to enjoy programs due to no room! Like machines. Being by myself, would like to have available spotters for weights.
I do not join any of the programs or the activities offered by the Y. I prefer to workout alone on machines and the walking track.
The programs are geared toward all fitness levels.

Our daughter enjoys swimming there and we enjoy walking the track and the park around the facility. It's a beautiful place!

Like all the silver sneakers classes. Like the track and free weighs/weight machines. Would like to try a swimming class as well. The Y has a lot to offer.
Its atmosphere is very positive and welcoming. There are classes for all ages and interests. It’s also very convenient to my house!

The indoor pool but what I hate & why I can't go often is because the time I can go I can't do anything in the pool not even walking back and forth for exercise cause you have those older women in like a huge circle tht takes up half of the pool. They are not very friendly and im not sure if it's because I'm only 51. I definitely can't walk in the shallow end due to my rehab after brain & back surgery. I done 3 rounds of physical therapy with Julie there & I still had no area in the water & I thought physical therapy might have priority. I assume they must be big contributors to ur donation. I'm very quiet & I just need a spot to walk back & forth and I have never been ask to join their exercise or ask do I have enough room. I have had to leave over 10 times or more due to know room due to the exercise circle tht they make huge. I mean u can check frm my signing up & paying every month how many times I have came due to this issue. We all need to work together in the deeper end but thts something management needs to figure out. Not sure if I will renew next year simply due to this problem.
Track, circuit machines-can work out at your own pace
I love the indoor year round swimming pools and the fact that you can visit any ymca gym in the country. My ymca has 2 pools, one with several lap lanes and the second swiming pool with heated/warm water. I also love the 2 story water slide in another ymca location. So (despite the distance, time, and traffic) I will occasionally visit a secondary ymca location as well as my preferred ymca gym.
