The instructors are really nice with kids and the groups are reduced allowing instructors to concentrate in everyone. Additionally, the pool and elements are very clean and in good shape. And it is also remarkable that lifeguards pay attention all the time to people in the pool.

I like the cleanliness of the place, their pool is the best, weight rooms are great too. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and I've been to three gyms in my years.
I love that the YMCA has fun activities for my kids while I do my workouts, and also a space for family gym time to do fitness together!
Swimming lessons and leadership are also highlights for me at the YMCA. I’m looking forward to seeing more programming, but appreciate how much has been done in these Covid times. The virtual Y has been awesome these last couple months.

I typically stick to only the workout area, however, used to be more involved with swimming, day camps, child care, all of the fun stuff. Unfortunately, we are no longer offered that as much. I do feel as if we are not offered it, we should not be paying as much. The prices seem to be pretty high for being offered such a limited amount.
The staff are always great, especially Anita at the Chatham location.

The atmosphere is very positive - friendly, knowledgeable staff, clean facilities, equipment in good working order. As well there are many programs to satisfy everyone from seniors to children. It is the only fitness facility in Chatham with a pool. Programs are available for those in need of financial assistance. Because of programs not offered by other clubs, the cost may be perceived as the only negative feature. Some folks want to rush in, have a quick workout & go home but at the 'Y' there is the time to socialize as well, e.g. playing pickleball. We visited a 'Y' in Texas that had a salad bar as a popular feature for the noon hour, working crowd but it certainly isn't needed here.
I enjoy the facilities and the friendly staff. I find that most staff try to use your name and this really makes you feel welcomed.
I like the swimming combination of lanes and Aqua-fit classes. I would like to see the 9 am classes for Aquafit offered every weekday, Monday to Friday. I would like Nicole to have more teaching time for these classes, as she is by far the best teacher.
Your Y is very clean and well maintained . Front desk folks are efficient and helpful. The upstairs gym is also very clean and has lots of equipment.

Very helpful staff from top to bottom. Every effort has ben made to keep programs running is some form during these times. Staff are courteous and friendly, and welcome ideas and questions. AND they listen to gripes in an understanding way! There is nothing not to like about the Chatham YMCA.

The Aquatics program, it’s a very good program. The program is very well organized with instructors that follow a progressive training structure. The participants learn swimming skills that will help them to develop and grow.
