Pool is fantastic
I only do the adult swim and find the instructions great.
I love the pool. It is the only part of the facility I am interested in and use. However I do appreciate that I have access to the full range of fitness activities.
Just so you are aware. I have been doing aquafit for 40 years since my doctor told me to do any exercise I wish as long as it is in the water. I am scheduled for a hip replacement next week. When I went for my assessment last month, the physio therapist told me that because of my strength and range of motion, I won't require Physio prior to the surgery. She also told me that people who participate in hydrotherapy do better and she is considering it as a fitness go to.
I know people who walked longer, participated in life longer and more comfortably because of their pool exercises. I even knew one man who was spared heart surgery because of his participation in aquafit. He lived into his 90s.My good friend is 80 and has had heart surgery and never misses the class. Many of us depend on this for the quality of our lives.
The pool staff is friendly, helpful and conscientious. The pool is consistent in clarity and temperature and I've watched the chemistry being checked by the lifeguards. I'm a lifer.
This might not be what you wanted. I hope you appreciate knowing.
There is a great variety and all abilities are welcome.
The play zone (morning childcare) staff are absolutely phenomenal (Kelsi, Amanda and Helena), the front desk are super kind and create a very welcoming environment.
I like the friendly staff and the pleasant atmosphere. The hours the Y is open is great. The availability of a life coach or trainer is especially appealing to me.

It’s very inclusive to everybody. All different skill sets everywhere and the team aspect is promoted.
