I was really pleased with the new Tech, Larry Kincaid that came out to do our encapsulation inspection. He is definitely the main reason I gave Terminix a 10 as for as recommendation! Terminix needs more Techs like Larry Kincaid! He made sure he did everything as far as checking everything with our encapsulation as I explained to him all the trouble & complaint that we had with our encapsulation as well as feeling things weren't really checked properly with our termite inspections when it was done, until the Regional Mgr came out & got everything brought up to my satisfaction with both complaints. I could tell Larry is really a good caring & Christian man. He did everything required & adjusted the temperature for the under the house encapsulation because it hadn't gotten up to 65 but was close staying between 60 & 62 so he told me to give him a call if it dropped lower than what it should & it dropped to 40 so I called him to let him know that & we could reschedule next week for him to adjust because it was doing ok but was just a bit high & I was having fear that it would get to 65 so he adjusted it. After he adjusted it, it dropped to 40. He told me no worries, that he was finishing up in Belmont & he'd drop by & adjust it a little more & every since he made that 2nd adjustment the reading has been staying in the low to mid 50's. That's great because the Regional Mgr., Pete had told me he preferred for it to stay in the 50's. I sure hope Larry stays with Terminix because he reminds me of the employees that came out to do inspections when I first started with Terminix & they were really good! I've been with Terminix every since they bought out Goodwill Exterminating & have always trusted them until I got a dissatisfaction when I had the encapsulation done; however, I'm not going to dwell on that since the Regional Mgr stepped in to make things right & I Thank Him for that! Larry Kincaid, is the best & I'll always request him as the tech for our inspections even if I have to wait a bit to get him because he seems to know his stuff on both sides. Encapsulation & Pest Control. I'm thinking about contacting Thomas the Gastonia Office Mgr to see what kind of deals they have for fire ant treatment because Larry let me know to be careful because there's a fire ant hill not far from the door where I have to unlock for Terminix to go under the house. Ive already been ate up by the fire ant hills at our mailbox, plus we have grandkids & I cant let them play in backyard knowing this when I keep them. Larry told me to contact Thomas about the fire ant packages so I'll do that! Thanks Larry & Terminix for making things right. I'm glad to say, I'm satisfied & highly recommend Terminix, especially for Pest Control because I've been with them for over 20 years now! Regional Mgr, Pete did waive my yearly encapsulation for this year & realize I will have to start back paying it in 2027; however, I do hope you'll at least keep the yrly contract fee for encapsulation 185.00, at least in 2027, because I did receive a statement showing encapsulation went up to 200, which is 15 dollar jump, I called & spoke with Aylsa to let her know that Pete told me I didn't have to pay the encapsulation this yr 2026, due to all the trouble I experienced with the encapsulation. She said it was in Pete's notes & to just disregard the statement & it would be taken care of. I do realize that my Termite inspection will go up to 350 a year & that it can't go up for more than that amount for 3yrs which I signed the new contract in October of 2025. Lisa scheduled my appointment within days of my call. I appreciated knowing the name of the technician coming out - Josh. The appointment was very pleasant. Josh was on-time, polite, very knowledgeable and delivered flawless customer care. All my questions were answered without fluff, which I appreciate! It’s been about a week since my appointment and the fact that I can still recall the names of the 2 folks that interacted with me, that is a great sign to keep these employees and bump their pay so they want to help make Terminex shine!
I was very impressed with the gentleman that came out. He was very knowledgeable and I am so glad that I went ahead and purchased a year the results already. I can’t believe we live on the lake and all I’ve ever heard well if you live on the lake you got water bugs as well sorry water bugs. I haven’t seen dead ones lately. I would give them an A+.
