I have been attending DTD classes for about 61/2 years, I love it !I have made new friends and have learned to do many things, The class teaches us that there is more than one way to accomplish a new stretch or maybe a new type of med for you to try.
Susie is the Best instructor,I have had many over the years and Susie is still at the top of my
list. I share with everyone I know and meet about the class at the YMCA. I also share that you can attend other YMCA locations if needed at no extra cost. It is excellent if your work days classes are at different times so it is easy to find one for any time.
The staff is lovely and accommodating If you have Parkinson'stake the time to talk with
the staff at SouthWest YMCA!
I have just started attending aquatic morning classes on a regular basis. I appreciate the consistency of teachers/classes offered. Teachers strive to provide a class that is a workout while also having fun. For older adults with knee or arthritis issues, aquatic classes are a wonderful option.
The staff is great. Very personable and knowledgeable. There’s a lot of variety in the programs and equipment.
The ability to get help from staff and trainers.
My 3 kids are taking stage 5 swimming lessons in Gretna. Every day they have come home and shared what they are learning and have been excited to go back the next day! And I have the peace of mind that they are learning skills to help keep them safe!
That kids can learn sports with enjoying the sport and less about competition.
This is our first year attending the YMCA tball 6 year old program and we love it! my daughter loves her coach and her teammates. I would say I wished she at least had one girl on her team unfortunately she was picked with all boys. I am super glad I signed my daughter up last second because it has sparked an interest in her that will keep her going for years to come.
Flexible and lots and lots of choices
My wife enjoys several classes offered in the morning between 8-9 AM. I like working out on the machines at the same time. Usually not too crowded, friendly staff.
Flexibility of hours & different classes. Workout equipment is always available, not really crowded like the Armbrust YMCA
