My daughter is doing swim lessons. She's catching on great and there is only one other kid in the class lately there has been two instructors as well so she is getting a lot of good one on one time. She'll be swimming on her own in no time.
My daughter loves it. She just wishes there was more swimming.
great workout, great staff, and fun with class mates
Personal connection with staff is,very pleasant and helpful.
My daughter really had a good time there. There are a lot of kids but I think they managed the situation very well and very professional. Would do it again.
Great communication and my daughter has really enjoyed all the activities!
We like the art and STEM activities, the emphasis on reading and physical movement.
The counselors are more involved with the kids than previous camps we have attended and hold high behavior standards.
The challenge is the volume. There are a lot of kids in the pool and gym which can be over stimulating, but the Y is accommodating to wearing earplugs.
Nice staff, wonderful coaches, fun experience for my child.
The pool schedule is great, as there are always several lap lanes open. The locker rooms are very spacious....however, the lockers themselves are really old and need replacing ! !
My kids loved the swimming activities!
Amount of physical activity and outside time!
Fun Silver Sneakers
Water aerobics.
I love the Silver Sneakers classes. And the staff at the Southwest YMCA is the best!
The pool was great for my kids and myself. I have been having an issue with your phone this week though. I am trying to reach someone in aquatics to discuss level 6 for my kids.
My son loved swimming lessons this summer. The class size was small, allowing him to really build his skills and gain confidence. We plan to sign him up for another session.
Love the Southwest Y!
Pool, childwatch, weight room
We have appreciated the diverse themes and activities each week. Our son always comes home talking about how fun of a day he had at camp.
That they are community based for everyone from one year old kids to the elderly. Feels like a big family. Thanks!
Programs and activities are well planned and executed. My kiddo had so much fun swimming, going to the library, playing games, everything she did was a blast! She came home tired and hungry because she was active and engaged all day. The one Monday that she woke up saying she didn't want to go to camp (Mondays are hard!) She came home asking if she could go back the next day. Organization and communication were top notch. Affordability is another bonus. We will definitely be back next year.
Kudos to Charissa, Pete and the YMCA Southwest staff! To say they do excellent work is an understatement!
The activities and before and after care.
So far we love it - always keeping them busy and active. Something new through out the week to
Keep them from Being bored. Wonderful program!
This year camp seems to be more structured with different types of activities that are more creative and throughout than previous years. I am liking how Carissa is handling her team and the kids.
Excellent instructors and friendly environment.
Our daughter loves to swim and she is enjoying this program very much.
My son Cooper loved it!
I like the ease and accessibility of the program.
Fun and easy to work with. Great for new introduction into sports

Seems like a lot of activities and the kids have lots of different things to do each day of the week to keep them occupied and off the screen time which is awesome.
