I just started last week but I’ve been to three silver slippers and one low impact cardio. I must say there is one instructor that I prefer. There is one other instructor that has to look at notes cackles too much. Annoying!
We love it here. Childcare is amazing with our kids. The staff is friendly.
--An abundance of programs and services to choose fro.
--Excellent instructors
--Outstanding equipment and facilities
Water aerobics
Affordable registration and jerseys
The teacher for my kids have been amazing this session! I believe her name is Jen!!! 10/10
There are so many affordable options for our family and we enjoy being a part of the community.
It's a positive, not overly competitive environment. Kids can participate in a sport while still having time to take part in other sports/activities.
My daughter has really enjoyed volleyball and meeting other girls from around the Omaha area and playing with her friends. The volleyball program has helped her to gain confidence. The prices for the programs at the YMCA are reasonable.
affordable, accessible, great experience
The friendliness of the staff. How clean and well maintained the facilities are.
The employees in the childcare are welcoming and friendly. They make dropping off my child easy and put my mama heart at ease while I work out!
Class was good.
I love the Live Strong program. It is what started me coming to the YMCA. The other programs I like are Silver Sneakers, Low-Impact Cardio and Aquacise.
Silver Sneakers is a good way to stretch and move to keep my body moving to its best ability.
Low-Impact Cardio is great to keep the heart in great shape while I get a lot of movement. I also like that it helps my lungs, as I am living with MBC and it is in my lungs.
I really like the Aquacise program as it keeps me moving and is cardio at the same time. It is great that 75% of my body weight is gone when I am shoulder deep in the pool, which means that is so good for my joints.
I like the way the instructors make it fun, work different areas of the body, and change the routines daily, so it does not become boring. (Jackie and Honey are the best!)
The classes on Monday thru Friday morning at the SW Y for older adults are great -- great instructor (Jackie Wattenhofer) and lots of caring people that attend.
My mom joined because the nurse at the geriatric assessment clinic recommended we check out the Y for classes. We have been thrilled with the Brain Body class as well as chair yoga. Your instructors are incredible as well as the volunteers. Your front desk employees are friendly and helpful.
The programs are specific to my needs.
We enjoy the pool very much and the toddler activities.
Silver Sneakers is a wonderful program for seniors. Many levels of difficulty to choose from. Also a great way to meet new people.
Everyone is so supportive and kind, between the staff at the facility in the child watch to the coaches that volunteer their time to help our kids get ready and learn how to have sportsmanship!
It includes everyone.
All the sports activities my grandson has attended have been well worth the cost.I look forward to sending him as he moves up in grade school.
Accessibility and price
All of the coaches are helpful and patient. They teach well. The game schedule is easy to manage. like the number of sports offered.
I feel that the organization is very organized and communicative. The coaches have been great and so have the referees!
The friendly nature of the competition for the 3-4 year old division. The kids seems to have a good time and it is a great introduction to the sport.
Availability of gym equipment to workout at your convenience all the time.
Youth sports

There is an excessive amount of chlorine in the pool. Lap lanes are not super crowded. Swim instructors do a great job with kids.
