This year ran smoother than others- only drawback was one team that’s the 7/8th graders played. I believe they were a BJSA team and they had TERRIBLE sportsmanship and playing very “dirty” no manners and their cheering section wasn’t much better either. One kid did get ejected on their team and I hope it showed our team how NOT to treat teammates and referees.
Diverse and inclusive, great group fitness options. I especially like the addition of 6 pm yoga on Wednesdays
Your hours for the pool are so consistent, it makes going easy. The showers are the only drawback, its a little inconsistent. I don't swim there all the time but when I do I try and remember which cube has the best water pressure and heat. As I think about it, the shorter spiecket (sp?) has the best heat and pressure.
I have only been to the Southwest Y twice so far but was very impressed! Everyone was so friendly and I truly appreciated the information I learned in Zach's Pickleball intro course. I will be back.

At age 74, I utilize the exercise machines but not the free weights.
The staff and fellow Y members are helpful and friendly.
Visuallly impaired and not driving, I don't get to travel from my home
near 45th & Center Sts to visit the Y as often as I should.

Personnel at SW Omaha Y are fantastic! Best staff I have ever experienced at a gym. This is a major strength for this facility. We feel very comfortable having our daughter at this location.

Pickelball and the nicest people playing!
The Y is always spic and span. It has good equipment, well organized. The weights are easily accessible and and in good condition. There are lots of bikes and treadmills so there is usually no waiting to get on the equipment. The gym is large and well lit.
The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. It is wonderful that they cater to all ages from children to Old folks like me.
My only pet peeve is when they play loud blaring music or radio in the weigh room.
There are fitness programs for all levels/ages. The staff is extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The facility is well kept.

I like the classes, the sauna and the weight room. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded, and on occasion there are no parking spots in the parking lot.

Pool and life guards are always family friendly.
Big fan of group X classes. Sondra is great in Group Power. She gives a good workout in a fun supportive environment. She makes it fun.
The New Homeschool P.E Class is amazing! Thank you providing a wonderful program for our kids!
I participated in the Live Strong Program.
It was amazing what I could do by the end of the 12 week program. Now the Y is one of my Happy Places.

The Livestrong program facilitators are very knowledgeable and helpful with the health and exercise program I am involved in.
Great place, great people and great location just off of 132nd and Center.
They have all the equipment you need and they take great care of it.

I really like your lap swim hours on the weekends, they work with my housemates and my schedules to get each other in to swim :)
