Quality of swim lessons, clean facility, convenient location
We had a great experience with our two girls starting swim lessons at the Y! Their instructor was awesome and it's something they look forward to every week!

Pickleball
The silver sneakers class is at convenient times and there’s a choice of two different instructors. The staff is very pleasant and always helpful.
Great facility, layout is a bit strange when trying to use the weight machines. Everyone is super nice and accommodating.

At the Southwest YMCA, I utilize the exercise equipment (not the free weights) as an
aging 75 YMCA member.
I appreciate the friendly staff who listen intently to an old fool with a blevy of
bad jokes.

Group exercise provides good strength training. I would like to see Pilates type classes during the week, daytime.
Instructors are well trained and dedicated to providing a good, safe workout. Very pleasant, fun group.
They offer everything we need and the staff are very friendly!

Swimming
I go to various classes at a variety of different Y locations around Omaha.
Jackie's aerobics class is the best. It is a good workout. Jackie is easy to follow and makes it so much fun that I don't notice that I'm really working up a sweat.
The knowledge and helpful instructors,
all the different classes, activities, and speakers are wonderful.
I attend Jackie's 8:15 classes five days a week. There is always variety in her classes -- I encounter new movements all the time and I've been coming to the Y for 20+ years! As I always tell people when I talk about the Y, the people who come to a class at 8:15 AM are always fun to be around and care for one another.
(To be honest, I hate to promote her classes -- the Monday-Wednesday-Friday classes may max out the space if they get much bigger!)

The kids are busy and enjoy their time doing different activities. They have complained of some buying that is occurring so possibly a bigger staff to child ratio would help? But overall we have been happy with it
