The weight room is up to date, clean and the morning child care is top notch.
The childwatch is simple to use while we use the wellness center. The swim lessons have been great as well.
I love the Silver Sneakers classes offered. The facility is very clean which is ver important to me.
I live at 45th & Center in Omaha,
With my son Tim as head varsity boys basketball coach at Millard South High School,
my wife and I babysit the grandchildren in Millard. This makes the Ambrust YMCA
a great location while out west.
At age 71, I like to cycle outdoors and do upper and lower body workouts at the
YMCA. As a new member (late February 2022) I may look old but feel like a rookie
when using the machines. I would like to
take advantage of the two sessions with a trainer. Some of the equipment is a
little puzzling as to "Am I using this in a proper manner?"
LOVE silver sneakers class.
Brichelle is an excellent instructor and incredibly patient with my children! Highly recommend swim lessons and the swimming programs.
The young ladies are so great! They keep the class in line but are great with giving attention where needed.
Easy to schedule swim lessons any time of the year. Teachers work with each kid during the lessons.
Great swim classes! Kids loving it
I love the classes on T-TH mornings. Candace and Bethany are so personable and develop different exercise routines so we don't get bored! They truly care about the class and the people attending.
I haven't been coming to the Y for sometime during the pandemic. I have been utilizing the elliptical machines and the matrix weight machines. There is a plentitude of these machine and I have my choice. The men's locker is always clean and there are always towels. It seems that this Y is well organized. My wife and I plan on attending a yoga class.
Everyone is friendly and nice. That's huge! I love the community spirit. It is very clean. Also huge. (go Debbie). The equipment is nice and new. I love the water! I love Tai Chi! I liked the March T-shirt challenge. Helped me stay motivated. I loved the Easter egg hunt. I even found an egg. Also that they have exercise classes for beginners and out of shape old people.(smile). It's a great place. I have met new people and a few that I know but haven't seen in years.
I look forward to going to the Y. I am happy that they offer personal trainers. I'll be looking forward to that in the future.
The pool is warm and large enough for different kinds of exercises at the same time.
I enjoy the Group classes. I wish Zumba was offered more than once a week Monday thru Friday during the day.
Very inviting and friendly. My trainer Kaylee is amazing! She is so knowledgeable and really motivates me to be a better person!!
Great classes. A nice variety.
I use the Y for mostly weight lifting and to take my kids swimming.
If you’re looking for future improvements there needs to be more kids stuff in the pool. Like splash pad type stuff or a kids slide.
I would also selfishly want to increase the size of the weight lifting area
Variety of group exercise classes.
I like the new treadmills at the Southwest YMCA
Well organized
I appreciate the weekly reminder of upcoming games!
It’s more about the kids having fun and learning than winning ☺️
Armbrust provides numerous classes with top-notch instructors!
I appreciate the volunteers who coach!
We love that our kids get to play with their friends. We've always had phenomenal coaches through the flag football program and our boys have commented a few times this year how much they like and have learned from the refs.
First year and only a couple games in. Been good. However we have 830am games every week. One that’s brutal early every week. One off ok. But weekly is tough. Especially when it’s early spring. Been really cold. 930 or 10 am would feel completely different
They make everyone feel welcome!
Everybody has been friendly fair and the coaches have been great thank goodness for the volunteers
My favorite program is water exercise.

They need to put a discription of the class on the app so you know what the class is about
