I love the pool.
A lot has changed since 2020 but I see the y trying to get back. I highly recommend it.
I am elderly and find the 9 am group sessions to be just what I need to stay active. The gym instructors are thorough and friendly enough to make the sessions enjoyable.

The Downriver YMCA is always welcoming and very well maintained. The range of activities is excellent. I primarily use the pool which is pristine and the lifeguards are exemplary!

The track, pool, and strength machines
I love the Sauna, and elliptical and the members are so friendly. I love walking around the track with my headphones in. They have tables and chairs around the lobby where you can eat your food or talk to friends. Sometimes, they have the commercial coffee pot available, catering to your needs so that you can enjoy tea or coffee while entertaining your friends.
Also, all of their employees are very helpful and friendly.
