I generally use the downriver YMCA, but I was doing a staycation in the city and thought I’d check out the Boll Ymca. It was gorgeous - the track allows you a beautiful view of the city as you walk or run. The facility and equipment were mpeccably maintained and I want to give a special shout out to Clark at the front desk. He helped me work through my pool scheduling and other questions I had about the facility. I highly recommend the Boll family YMCA !
I love that there are two pools for different kinds of swimming. I like that it is a lovely, modern building and that it's downtown. I like that I can visit any local Y. I like connecting My family to an institution. I love the climbing wall. The locker rooms are great.
It is beautiful, inside and out, including the view of downtown from the 3rd floor workout areas. The YMCA always is clean. The pool and shower areas are modern and wonderful. Every person that my children and I have encountered who work there consistently are kind and friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere inspires me to remain focused on my work out while there. It also makes me want to want to continue visiting on a regular basis. I experience peace of mind there and feel safe.
I love the weight area, the walking area and the fact that my daughter and grandkids can come swimming there with me.
It was an easy process to begin, and associates were very friendly.

We came to go swimming with our family! Everything from the Art, the check in counter, the locker room, the pool and check out was emmaculate! The locker rooms were presto ready! It was an awesome first experience, we will be back!

Good people, friendly employees, good environment and equipment/facilities
Only been a member for 2 weeks but it already feels like a second home. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Facilities are open and bright ans clean. Love the space and all the friendly faces!
