I really like the friendliness of the Birmingham Y staff. I always feel welcome there. The Y has a variety of machines that allow one to exercise all the muscle groups.

Friendly staff, nice facilities. I like the new exercise machines and the gym for basketball, though the ''reservation'' policy is confusing if you just want to stop in and shoot baskets when the gym is not being used.
