The building has old bones, but the facilities are well-maintained and the staff is friendly. Enjoy the flexibility to swim or use traditional gym equipment!

I am just starting my Silver Sneaker Seniar Excersize from 7/12/21. Initial registration was very good. I will have more survay comments letter as I particapate more in classes.
New strength training equipment, not crowded. I would like to see staff cleaning equipment more often since we are still in a pandemic.

I like the friendliness of instructors. The locker room is nice and clean, front desk personnel are helpful. I hope soon some people will step forward to work and restrictions can be lifted due to Covid; I am a diabetic and also have back arthritis and need to use the pool for exercise. I'll be glad when I can again get in on classes.

Friendly and helpful staff.
Everyone at the Birmingham Family YMCA is super nice and helpful. They know me by name and make an effort to say "hi" anytime I'm in. The classes that I go to, Barre with Danielle and Cycle with Teri are very well taught. As we move out of Covid, I hope the demand for child watch increases and we can offer it on Saturday mornings or more evenings. I'd love to see a 2nd evening barre class too.
The place is clear. The staff is friendly. Dan, the director, is the best. I meet very nice, friendly people at the Y.

I have been a Y Birmingham member for just over 3 years, and a volunteer board member for about that long. I believe that the Y best embodies core beliefs that I have that invlve responsibility, caring, compassion, etc. It is an organization that truly helps the community in times of need and celebrates the community in times of success.
