Are wonderful instructors and have really helped , and continue to help me gain strength and energy after a serious accident.
My daughter and I are members of the Birmingham YMCA. We absolutely love this location! I was nervous about placing her in summer camp because she didn’t know any of the kids. The camp councilor’s made her feel welcomed on day one. By the end of the first week, she didn’t want to come home at pickup time because the staff is so much fun. There’s a field trip every week and she is constantly moving and getting the exercise that kids need. I highly recommend the Birmingham YMCA!
The physical building is well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful and start classes on time. There is a variety of equipment available.
The Y has many great classes!! And the community of people are wonderful!!
I have been swimming at the Y for around 46 years. I love the comradely of the water aerobic class - I used to swim laps but the class atmosphere makes the exercise a lot more fun! My children learned to swim at the Y as well.
