I don't know if I'm the only one, but I do not like the long mirrors to sit and stare at my overweight body in it! Some might enjoy looking at themselves fully, but a mirror that shows just the upper half is fine with me. I've been to this place off and on over the years and this has bothered me for some time. I really only want to look at my head of hair and what my stylist is doing with it.
So, this is my one main complaint I'd say. I love the neck/head massage with some oil before the shampooing. Another place I used to go to before my stylist retired, did that and it was so nice to have done. I'm usually tight in my neck shoulder area. It's a nice bonus. Otherwise, everyone seems very friendly at A Salon.

I sat with colir on my head for an hour. I sat way too long.
Hey Cynthia we will pass your comments to Nanci and let her know you feel like you sat to long with your color. Just want to assure you that Aveda is a vegan color line (not a nitro dye that will continue to get daker) and can require 45-60 min of processing time. It also contains oils that are very conditioning to the hair that leaves your hair feeling and looking amazing. See you next time.
I love Anastasia, she is a master of her profession. The entire team is outstanding and the best customer service! I have been a customer for many years and highly recommend this salon. The Aveda products are also great!

Emily Paget is a master stylist. She knows how to cut my thin hair to make the most of it and leaving me look my best. I always get so many compliments on my haircuts after I see her. I’ve never had such good luck at a salon before. Highly recommended

I loved everything about my A Salon experience from the moment I walked in until my appointment was over and I left. The personable, friendly, attentive staff made me feel welcome and very comfortable. My stylist did an amazing job on my hair! I highly recommend A Salon to everyone. I forgot to mention the large inventory of Aveda products, makeup, hair extensions and more.
