Miss Nancy is a great toddler swim teacher. It's exciting to see my toddler learn to swim and be challenged every week!
I love water aerobics with Jacquie, she is the best and really the only reason why I go to the salem y. I’ve also enrolled my daughter in her swim class as well. Jacquie is such a treasure and the salem Y is better for having her.
The instructors.
The Afterschool program is such a big help for my family with our work schedule. I love that they even offer care on days where there is no school and vacations. Such a big help instead of trying to figure out who can watch my child so we can work. And the cost is very affordable as well
The daycare teachers
It's great value for a family, especially with young kids. We now pay less money for 3 weekly swim classes (including 2 kids under 3 years old) since joining as members, plus we get the additional benefits of drop-in classes and Kids' Corner.
Just yesterday I recommended to a friend who's an individual member that he upgrade to family membership so he and his wife can work out together.
The babysitting club. It has been an incredible experience. The staff has been wonderful and I always feel comfortable leaving my child with them. He has a great time and I have the opportunity to take time for myself, which I would not have without this service.
Very good faciities
We liked the arts and crafts, especially the hand and footprint art for the little ones. The teachers are very caring and wonderful. We appreciate them teaching a lot of songs and how to get along with friends.
I like the pickleball court and more time schedule

I can only speak to the Salem YMCA and the workout room. It is super clean, which is very important to me. The staff is friendly and helpful. I look forward to my workouts every day.
Your instructors are the best.
The Y is the best. They make you feel welcome and are always ready to lend a hand or answer any questions I may have. The YMCA gives me a sense of belonging. As a senior citizen, it's nice to go to a place where I feel I belong.
your staff at the front desk and in the weight room are wonderful. The weight room (gym) has staff that really know their myscle systems. I have learned so much from Jamont and others. He knows muscle systems and I am working on upper body strength.
Our kids love their swim lessons and coach Nancy is the BEST! They've made such great progress with her over the past two seasons and we couldn't be happier.
I have been able to try out a variety of classes with multiple instructors and am pleased with the quality of the classes. Beth Schultz Strictly Strength class is amazing because of her individual instruction and attention to correct form. I also enjoy Gina Grinarml's pilates classes for the same reasons. She wants to be sure we are all getting the most from the classes by doing the exercises correctly. I recently attended Lyralen's Sunday restorative class and will be adding it to my schedule as it is a positive way to start off my week.
Excellent service, its staff is trained in several languages, they are always willing to help with any questions.
