My daughter has changed into the happiest girl she has ever been since she started doing several weekly lessons at the Y. She went from having 0 self-confidence or self-esteem to now pushing herself to achieve the highest levels she possibly can to these sports. She has developed tremendous passion. She has made friends where she would not even talk before because she was too shy. She is excited beyond belief to finally be able to go to camp this summer. I have gotten into the best shape of my life. I could barely walk a year ago and I was obese class 2. I now lift weights 4 times a week, and run for an hour 5 times a week. I lost 100 pounds. I have become an entirely new person and started a new life. We have become so happy and healthy as a family. We are so grateful!

Even though it is a larger class, the kids still get individual attention and engaging obstacle courses and activities are set up for them throughout the class time
It's my daughter's first experience with gymnastics and she loves it! Not being locked in for a whole year is a great bonus as well.
There is a lot of weight lifting equipment, tread mills, stair climbing equipment, stationary bikes and plenty of room for everybody no matter what time you come. There's Pickleball and Basketball courts, a spin room, two mind body/yoga rooms and a huge gymnastic area. The staff is friendly and there are lots of classes for yoga, spinning and Zumba. It's a great place to workout.....................

The instructor (Lindsay) is amazing! So patient with the littles and always has things set up and moves through at a pace perfect for my toddle and preschooler! Can’t sing her praises enough!!

My kids love going to gymnastics! The coaches are so kind and welcoming, creating an environment where the kids feel both comfortable and safe.
The coaches are very kind and caring and it is a very fun atmosphere for preschoolers.
The people are friendly and the facility is well maintained. Although, more frequent cleaning would be appreciated, especially in the courts.

Moved from Salem, MA to Groveland, MA. Originally was going to the Haverhill, MA location but decided to give Plaistow a shot. Very impressed with the entire facility and the overall vibe. Not just the size of it, but it is a place where there is a vibe of activity. Large lifting floor, plenty of weights and machines (wish there was more than one bench press, but that’s just me nitpicking). Large gymnastics training facility, basketball court and so on. When you’re at this location you get the vibe that you are in a training facility. I even find that the people who attend the gym are very kind but also very focused. Everybody shows up to work hard and have fun.
We recently joined the YMCA in Plaistow and found the initial set up so easy due to the associates who assisted us through the first steps. We then was given a tour and a meeting with the trainer, Wendy who was so helpful and knowledgable. We are now enjoying using the facility very much and lucky to have such a good gym in our community.

Coach Darren and the rest of the coaches did a wonderful job differentiating between the age groups. We are so appreciative of them giving them up their Saturdays for our kids. It was nice to see them actually enjoying themselves while coaching, as well.
Coach Darren has a lot of patience and takes his time to explain the sport to all the kids.
Alyson loves Miss Taryn and Miss Eve. They both communicate well with me and I feel better knowing my child is in their care.

I love the teachers, the director, and all of the staff. Everyone is very friendly, and they are warm and nurturing to the kids. The new leadership has changed the attitude of the staff for the better. Teachers are engaged and are doing more curriculum with the kids now. My child is happy at school and loves his teachers which makes it so much easier for me to go to work without stressing about how his day is going!
the staff are so wonderful.. it is a beautiful location and so fun!! what a great community addition!! now only if you built a pool in that huge back lot.. that would be the icing on the cake!!
