Best run pool on North Shore. Online schedule always reflects what is happening for lap/open swim. Pool is so CLEAN!!!! Locker room kept nicely.

Gloucester pool I only use in a pinch because it is so filthy. Vaccums and filters in Gloucester pool have not been working properly for a number of years. Pool staff will even confirm this with you. Bottom of pool is covered with sand, bandaids etc... Hair balls, paper etc... and who knows what else float around constantly. You have to push them away. Also you can never rely on their online schedule.

Beverly has been in constant construction, with poor coordination of opening and closings. Until June, ONE locker room is being shared by everyone - kids, parents, teens, men woman. Very uncomfortable. I will not return there until adult locker rooms are complete. Also, electronic locks on lockers do not work and you can't use your own lock.

Good and clean facility, good crowd, fully equipped gym

It’s a clean and friendly place. It serves an important function of providing service to the community and a place for people to go and interact socially.
I personally enjoy it. I’ve been taking senior exercise classes there, but I do think it’s important to keep the programs fresh doing the same thing every day year after year is not progressive. Recently I was in Florida and I saw more creative classes for senior women just different not the same every week and I think there’s some room for improvement at the Y. I think the teachers are great. It’s just the programs are a bit stagnant, but it means a lot to me to go there. I appreciate it. The price is right and it makes me feel part of the community so I hope you take my suggestion/criticism in the right frame of mind

Lots of equipment, machines, weights available. Weight and exercise rooms available. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I enjoy the athmosphere and the pool

The variety and quantity of classes offered each day. I love how many types of yoga classes and instructors are available. The timing works out great now that I am recently retired. Often I plan on attending a particular class but do not always make it. It is nice to have another option when that happens. Every instructor is very dedicated and knowledgeable.

This is a great sport club, compare with clubs where I went before. This club has everything. There are many different multifunctional equipments for gym, big pool, many areas for different training, activities and exercises. And very important is staff. Staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly. I’m very recommending this sport club anyone.

Mrs. Sue has been an amazing swim instructor for my 3-year-old son! She’s patient, kind, and makes every lesson so much fun. My son looks forward to his swim class every week and has made so much progress thanks to her. We feel so lucky to have her!
