Just awesome!
The children are always active and outside with other kids. The counselors are also great and both my children always get along and have fun with them any any YMCA camp they have attended.
My kids LOVE Camp Dory. Every morning, they are excited to get there.
Children are given a variety of events to participate in throughout the day. I particularly like that the groups are changed throughout the summer so the children have an opportunity to meet new friends.
Both my children love Camp Dory! The co
The swimming pool, and all the activities provided to keep the kids engaged and busy.
My sons are having fun each day and making new friends. The love the camp counselors and enjoy attending.
Ymca swim lessons are the best
The manager who gave us a tour was extremely helpful and friendly.
It’s kid friendly, especially the outside pool and splash pad. I like the locker rooms and the basketball court.
The staff at the Ipswich YMCA are the kindest people. They are always willing to answer questions and help.
They go out of their way to show people that they care.
An example is each day as my Grandson Liam takes the swim test to get the band the lifeguards show him that it matters to them how he is progressing. He really loves when a lifeguard tells him that he is doing better each day and gives him a high five Wonderful staff.
Great staff, Very clean, pool is fun.
the splash park was really fun. My kids had a blast we will definitely be coming again this summer.
The splash pad and outdoor pool are worth the membership. Completely. We spent the afternoon there with our three children, 7, 5 and 3, everyone had a great time. It's hard to believe that splash pad and pool are included in our membership! The kids were excited to hear we can go back again and again and again.
My daughter spending good time swimming indoor and outdoor. Very friendly stuff . Thank you for all you doing to make us feel happy
The swim lessons and outdoor pool for the summer
So you wanna break out of your comfort zone? Northshore YMCA is where it’s at! All genders, ages, and types are welcome here. Amazing community members who are kind, caring, and compassionate.
As an art director in Ipswich, I get to meet so many interesting people including staff. Learning about others and why they come back to community-based organizations.
An Olympic-sized swimming pool is best for those wanting to be the next Michael Phelps, or maybe just playing Marco Polo in the outdoor aquatic pool. A giant indoor gym for basketball sessions with Shaquille O’Neal or if you aren’t competitive, you could play a round of H-O-R-S-E.
A great open-room fitness gym with all the equipment so you rip those muscles bro or finesse those beautiful legs. There are Men’s and Women’s locker rooms (18+) and Boys and Girls locker rooms (below 18) which protects our privacy. Plenty of parking, saunas to detoxify, community fitness programs, and even vending machines!
Staff is always amazing, beautiful people all around, and those who you can run up to and call “friends”. We’re always looking out for each other - so if you have a question, always ask, even the community members. YMCA is a great place to support, connect, and explore - regardless of your mental health or disabilities.
There are so many opportunities to connect with other nonprofits in the area - I’m glad that I’m apart of Ipswich and this community of good people doing good things.
As humans, we want to connect and inspire, and this is the place to do that whether solo, duo, family, or as a group. Summer camps and places like YMCA bring that “feel good” experience back allowing our inner children to play.
Visit the YMCA and connect with women in business, nonprofits, communities, small business, corporations, government, and social justice defenders.
Location, convenience, equipment in good condition, friendly staff
Our Rosie had a wonderful time and would like to return. Thank you for all the fun for our girl!
Jadalyn comes home every day dirty, tired and happy - as it should be (Oh, and sometimes wet :D )!! She talks about her counselors lovingly and enjoys so much all the activities, and is always proud to show the imaginative crafts. Everyone from Caroline, who helped me understand and work through DCF requirements and paperwork for our foster care childcare voucher, to Blair and Mel at the Camp Dory site, have been kind, warm and professional and I couldn't ask for a better experience.
Thank you. I really appreciate how you've helped us.
clean, well maintained, friendly staff
Always a positive experience.
Friendly staff
Easy drop off and pick up, good safety measures in place. I love that my kid is physically active and engaged in fun and creativity!
Affordable, great facilities and very friendly staff.
My young daughter has done several of the vacation camps and is now at Camp Cedar Mill. She comes home happy every day and talks about the new friends she has made, fun games and activities she has played, and how nice the staff are.
The Ipswich Y is a caring, accepting community for people of all ages, ethnicities & abilities. It has been a pleasure using this facility, which was upgraded in recent years. People need community, as well as physical activity. The Ipswich Y got it right & has been nothing but warm & welcoming.
The staff at our local Y have been so helpful and welcoming and ready with answers to our questions.
Very clean and friendly environment and great instructors in kids classes

Clean, organized, kind greetings and great vibe.
