The teachers at the Ipswich Ymca are amazing. I’m very thankful for all the hard work and dedication they put into teaching my child. Jason’s preschool teacher Miss Missy is very passionate about her job. She did such a great job teaching Jason This year and now I can say he is ready for kindergarten. We will miss her dearly.
I love that everyday things are incorporated into my sons learning. Community walks show him so many different areas of life. I love seeing the pictures of what adventures they found throughout town and connecting those with the stories he tells me. His days are enriched by the amazing teachers who take him out into the world beyond the classroom walls and expand his knowledge. We couldn’t be happier with his adventures at daycare!!
The staff is great and extremely helpful. And the pool is fabulous !!!
We love the outdoor pool in the summer. It is great that the Northshore YMCAs allow members from nearby towns to use their facilities.
The Y offers many ways to work on personal fitness. As an older adult I love to swim all year long and hope to keep it up for many years to come.

Programming for all ages, professional staff.
I love all of the outside play. Also the lake is a huge bonus. My daughter is having so much fun on the paddle boards and kayaks. She has learned so many great games and met friends. We love camp dory.
Swimming pool/waterslides
The Y offers a great variety of programs and classes for people of all ages. The staff is friendly and helpful. A great price to workout, take classes, and meet up with friends.
Love the splashpad and out door pool! The only down fall is the price to bring a guest. $25 for and adult and $29 for her child is a lot of money. Last year they came with me no problem.

The indoor and outdoor pools are excellent and with a lifeguard on duty the Y is set apart from other gyms. I appreciate the affordable membership cost, financial discounts to those in need and the most affordable childcare option around. The club offers a great variety of activities.

Camp Cedar Mill was an excellent week for my two boys this year. They had a great time with the theme of legends week and enjoyed the overall outdoor experience. The staff was very friendly and very involved.
Everything
Ipswich YMCA has great swimming program for the kids which is where both my children have taken classes. Teachers are great! Love that they also provide childcare for parents who need some time to exercise, and the childcare staff are wonderful!
Amazing outdoor water space. Some inconsistencies with how lifeguards enforce the rules (some are not as patient with children as they should be on explaining the rules). Other than that, amazing.
Programs are versatile and available to all age groups. Staff are highly professional friendly and try to meet your needs in every way.
The Y has done a great job in making it a welcoming place for all. I see a wide variety of age groups using exercise equipment my teen and I both enjoy our Y membership. I joined due to the wide variety of exercise options that are offered from classes, weights and swimming it has it all.
Outstanding Staff
The Ipswich YMCA splash pad and pool are amazing! Visiting your facility is one of my kids' absolute favorite summertime activities. There is something for everyone to do (all ages), the lifeguards are professional, the facility is clean, and we always have lots of fun there. We are so lucky to have this gem within a short distance from our home. Thank you!

I love the classes, instructors and friendly staff at the Ipswich YMCA. I also appreciate that I can go to YMCA facilities when visiting other cities. I have been a member for over 10 years and so appreciate its resources.
Really referring to the outdoor waterpark. It was very well staffed in the lifeguards were very conscientious.
Love the outdoor pool and splash pad and do my granddaughters whisk they had that in Gloucester
