My family frequents the Ipswich family Y mostly for the pool. The girls and boys changing areas are spacious, efficient and clean. The communication of the employees from the check in to the life guard is friendly and kind. Overall we have always had a pleasant experience!

The Y is a staple in our community. It is an organization that embraces all, contributing to the health and well-being of so many. The diverse programs and dedicated employees are true assets. The Ipswich YMCA is a wonderful place to be.
ELC program is the best!! The teachers are so nurturing and caring!!
Love the Zumba classes-especially with Alena and Lori. And the exercise room is well equipped with machines and weights.
The YMCA, in general, has a very progressive community-based mission which I wholeheartedly support. More specifically, the Ipswich Family Y has a close knit community of adults in young people among their staff and patron. I have made many new friends and workout partners at this branch.

My daughter has so much fun and has learned so much. She went from hating swim class and not participating to now swimming independently and gaining confidence with every class.
Great experience overall. The locker room is unbearably cold all of the time and the showers produce about 30 seconds of water. Thank you for taking this into consideration.
It is a great way to support the community, because the YMCA really is an outreach that intersects with many people.
Also, having the membership helps me to think of creative and collective ways to be active and healthy.
Great place to work out, meet friends. Lots of group ex for those interested. Pool. But a little pricey!

I love how clean the Ipswich Y always is, thanks to the great cleaning and maintenance crew. Also, if something is broken, they work to quickly fix it. The classes are great, with a lot of variety. I love that I can use any other Y as well, in case a different Y has a specific class I want to attend.

Multiple flexible times and days are offered, ensuring a time that will work for our family. I also love how literally everyone seems to enjoy their job here and go out of their way to help everyone! Today, I saw a lifeguard give a toddler a toy to play with while he and his dad waited for big sister to finish up her swim lesson. Another day, an incredibly nice woman saw I was struggling with my son getting into the pool. She came right over and helped encourage my son making it fun for him and less stressful for me. Turned out this was the aquatics director! Amazing! Could say enough good things. All three of my kids have learned to swim here and enjoyed several other activities as well. Thanks for being great!
