Love the teachers in the infant room at Ipswich YMCA
Overall, I think the Ipswich YMCA is great. From the Fit for Life class, to a few other training classes, I've found staff trainers to be warm, helpful, professional, encouraging and invested in my/our success. Pickle ball has been great fun and the personal connections I've seen form within the intermediate group are incredible. While I do not have young kids anymore, the feeling I get watching all the young families is that the Y is welcoming and attentive to providing as much programming as possible during all parts of the year and especially school vacations. Staff at all levels seems well trained, friendly and helpful. Facilities are well kept and clean, especially considering the long hours and volume of usage. Lastly, I think membership and training fees are fair and a good value. Congratulations to everyone who works so hard to deliver on your mission. You're doing great.
Great staff, reasonable monthly price, good variety of classes, but would like to see more intermediate yoga classes

It’s a great place for a workout
I love that the teachers and staff are so supportive of the our kids and are committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for them. They are always checking in with parents to ensure that our children are doing well.
The staff is exceptional - stand outs for us are Miss Makayla, Miss Sarah, Miss Nancy, and Miss Tamra.

The Y is clean and friendly and has excellent instructors for group classes.
We have been so pleased with Jill Mullins who leads the advanced swim classes. She kept everyone focused and brings out the best in every swimmer. She knows just when to encourage and when she can push a bit more. It is obvious she loves what she does, and it leaves such a positive impact on every student. THANK YOU!!!

Coach Lamar was incredibly patient, nimble, and communicative instructor of our son's Jr. Celtics session. We would recommend him for his professionalism and kindness.
The YMCA North Shore Ipswich is one of many gems in the beautiful town of Ipswich. Its many attributes include that it is a clean and modern facility, the staff are friendly and it has agreeable hours. This Y has everything I want and need in a gym: a warm pool, a nice women's locker room with easy access to the pool, a fully equipped gym, a nice offering of classes and...can't wait for it....an outdoor pool for the upcoming summertime. Lastly, it doesn't hurt that this YMCA is a 5 minute walk from my house.
