My son really loves boating and swimming on the lake and the arts and crafts. He told his sister, who doesn't like sports, that there is something for everyone at Camp Dory. He also really likes the role models. Seeing young men he can look up to is important for him at this age.
I like that my Grandson LOVES camp Dory. He is excited to get up and go everyday. He always talks about how nice the counselors are and I always notice the counselors smiling when I drop off and pick up. I see them even do a last second fist bump with him before he gets into my car. That is so huge to my Grandson. He enters camp and exits everyday smiling.

I cannot say enough about my local YMCA and the Cedar Mill Camp in Rowley. I have called the front desk for assistance reaching the right people for scheduling changes multiple times, I was struggling to figure out how to change my preferred payment online and with a quick email it was resolved within the hour, and the list of seamless top-notch service goes on. The camp counselors are unbelievable. They are not there to supervise your children while you work, they are there to pump kids up and make every single day a new adventure, which is huge to my family because my kids attend through the entire summer. That being said, who ever hired Cody deserves an award, and Cody himself should receive and even bigger award. I know that there are lots of people working behind the scenes to make camp a success every year, but Cody manages events, keeps contact with the families, remembers the kids and the parents and shows up every day like it's the first day of Camp. I hope he never leaves! I have and continue to recommend Camp Cedar Mill to anyone with kids. Thank you all for everything that you do!
The YNS team is great.
The new aquatic director not allowing the camp children in either the indoor pool or the outdoor pool in unacceptable. These families pay a lot to send the kids to summer YMCA camp and not allowing them pool time is not ok.

He said you made it really fun even when days were rainy. He likes that it was a bit competitive with the counselors. He felt brave and tried new things with enthusiasm because of your team!

I’m liking the many programs for us older folks! Although I don’t want to recommend TOO much as the classes will fill up!

Staff are great, facilities are clean and beautiful. Lifeguards are attentive, respectful and on top of it.
Love the classes and the trainers! A huge recommendation would be to add more classes to Matt Ridings' schedule in the mornings -- especially the 5:45am or 6am time. There are a heap of us who would come every day to Matt's classes!
