Have been a member of Ipswich YMCA for around 5 months and have been very pleased with everyone I have come in contact with. They have been very professional and have each completely satisfied any request for info regarding the facility and the various programs they offer. I am happy to say that everyone who has been a member of this organization should be very proud to have such a great facility and organization located in our town.

I am relatively new to the Ipswich Y and highly recommend it to anyone… any age, any fitness level, as an all inclusive and very comfortable workout environment. I have belonged to many gyms and some very fancy ones. I like the Y for its
basic, no frills, friendly atmosphere. I take classes which vary from spin to pilates to weightlifting g to yoga, with many different instructors and levels…there is something for everyone.
Well-maintained facilities, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Everyone is welcoming and nice, classes are great, pool is open for lap swimming at good times and gym equipment is always available.
The equipment is in excellent condition and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The one complaint I have is that wiping down of equipment after use is haphazard and I think most people don’t bother to. I think it would be helpful if the Y sent out a reminder to all members or even displayed a small note attached to each machine to please make sure to wipe down after use.

The YMCA of Northshore is very family oriented and the employees are very friendly and welcoming. The facility is clean and well maintained.
