Thanks!
Smaller crowd, women’s locker is very clean
One request is to have a plastic chair in the handicap bathroom. The handicap shower is very difficult to change without getting your clean clothes wet. The floor is wet even near the chair.
I had a shoulder replacement surgery last November and a balance issue and need to sit with handicap bars near when changing clothes. It’s nice to finally get back to the YMCA!
I have not tried the sauna room yet when I do I’ll let u know if there are any issues.
Thank you in advance if chair could be added to the handicap bathroom!
Take care,

Staff is very intentional and wanted to get to know my son. The communication has been pretty clear and very friendly. He left his first week (after being very nervous) saying, "I love camp even more than Kindergarten!"
Basketball
We are happy with all the different pools we can use as well as classes and more.
My daughter loves the art barn, pool, and adventure area.
Clear communication, student engagement, hours, organization. Excited and engaging staff
Loved all the water play and classic “camp” experience. I never worried about her in the heat wave, since they were always in the water! This was my daughter’s first camp and she absolutely loved it.
The counselors are all super friendly and my son is having a blast! He comes home filthy from head to toe with a smile ear to ear! Both are signs he had a great day!
The outdoor pool is very fun
We had such a great experience and the facilities are great the people there were super polite and courteous it was just a good experience all the way around
Employees are the BEST!!
I love our swim team. Coaches and program are fantastic!
The family changing room is abysmal however. The cleanliness is often lacking and its MUCH too small. Its often so crowded and for families it makes an already complicated process, more complicated.
Please keep the portable changing stalls on the swim deck as an alternative solution.
Everything is great!!!! But I wish that teen room had more. We’ve gone before and the tv was on but then the last time we went, it was not. Kids were looking forward to relaxing after a long time playing.
I love everything about the CRCC location
Amazing teachers, atmosphere, culture. Variation in days and activities, endless opportunities for children to learn and grow. Most importantly, a positive, child-first community.
Friendly, great equipment and exercise areas
My granddaughter learned so much from her swimming lessons with Lisa.
I can see a difference in her comfort level in the water and her ability to add some swim techniques when she is in the water. I am planning to sign her up for swim lessons again this fall.
I love the Y. It’s a great place to work out or play pickleball. Especially when the weather is bad outside. I also like what the Y does for the community.
Good equpment and people. Not like an expensive upscale fitness club but great value for the money.
Very friendly people
Sports mania with Lamarr Walker was great!
Swim lessons with India and/or Lisa also very good. Their replacement half way through not so good.
Coach Lamar was AMAZING with the kids, so patient and kind yet still assertive/able to keep everyone’s attention and keep all the kids participating! One of the first parent child classes that my girls were actually comfortable participating with me standing back. Also loved the intro to different sports, very age appropriate, great class! My girls were so sad it was not running in the summer
Friendly staff. Great pools
Always a great time ! Facilities are well maintained.
The facility is clean and well cared for and the staff cares about the people. The staff is friendly and connects with everyone!
One concern I have is the junk food being offered in the vending machines. If food is going to be offered at all, it should be healthy and not ultra processed food loaded with salt, sugar and chemicals.
The Y is a place promoting health and wellness and these vending machines are a sharp contrast to that message. Also, the machines are placed right outside the gym where lots of children attend activities. Children are bombarded with junk food everywhere they go. The Y should either provide healthy (minimally processed options) or not have anything at all. This food provides no nutritional value and contributes to childhood obesity. Thanks for your time.
safe and useful program
Friendly employees. Good facility. Many options for workouts.
Our child attends CRCC, which is in association with the North Shore YMCA. I like the hours of open play and outdoor adventures. I like then hands-on approach to teaching in the preschool classroom and focus on social/emotional development that my 4yo needs. I think she's getting a lot out of preschool, and I think it's best that she stay there until kindergarten! The teachers and all staff are incredible. This is the perfect place for her.
I love that my son is frequently outside playing with the water table or outdoor playstructures. I feel getting fresh air and appreciating the outdoors is so important. I also love how they incorporate other lessons that are not didatic, such as potting plants, watching catepillars grow, and learning about the birds that come to the bird feeder outside the classroom. He always looks forward to school and has a great set of teachers who know how to handle a boy with lots of energy and a need to be on the move.
