The Y is my place of employment since 1999, the community is wonderful. Check out NORTHSHOREYMCA.ORG and YNSMASTERS.NET about Lap Swim and Masters Swimming for people over 18 who want a built in swim workout group.

Nice choice of classes.
I do want to let you all know that one of the yoga classes that I take fairly regularly has changed SO much that I am going to seek another date and time.

The instructor does much more meditation and Reike? than actual yoga poses, and talks an awful lot about the 'love-light" that we are supposed to be seeking.

I really just want to get a good hour of stretching in, so will look for other classes without that instructor.

It is a great facility with offerings for everyone. I would suggest that the Y do a bit of a maintenance review of lockers, floor tiles. Even though it is a new facility, some wear and tear is showing.

Clean equipment and polite staff.
Right now I dont use the pool or basketball courts, my comments are not applicable to either of those.

“Life changing” is an understatement. Joining a few years ago was one thing, but actually going…frequently… why didn’t I do this years ago!? And the best part? It’s full of normal people, everyday normal people from all walks of life. It feels very welcoming.
