My membership has translated into a substantial improvement in my overall quality of life, health and sense of community. Going on almost two years now, I've found a routine that is comfortable and challenging. I am a runner, both for fitness and for stress management. I've a long history of getting injured by only running, obsessively running too often or too far and inevitably getting injured. Swimming at the Greater Beverly YMCA has given me a great cross training outlet, with similar meditative opportunities. I'm also now just over a year into working with a trainer (Alex G.) and the strength and flexibility gains have made both my running and swimming more enjoyable. Combine all this with new friends and acquaintances, well...it's a huge part of my life now. I'm grateful.
And the sauna? Oh my, what a great feature to have here in New England
The programs… the folk that are members and especially the staff are wonderful!!!
We love the basketball program.
We loved being on the team in Beverly. Loralee and Aldair are the best coaches! Unfortunately Maggie couldn’t balance her vigorous hockey schedule with a competitive gymnastics program and ultimately chose hockey. But, I would highly recommend the gymnastics program in Beverly.

Broad choice of exercise equipment and I enjoy the broad spectrum of people who use the facilities.
It's a beautiful, clean facility, offering a wide variety of classes at an affordable price. It's great for bringing your friends and fur meeting new ones as well!
Great facility and trainers, but you should have a program that will stop people from using
their cell phone while just sitting and not using the equipment. Collect at the door, post signs
on all the equipment. You really need to do something about it.
Facilities well maintained and the PB and fitness class schedule is very good.
The quality of the equipment, cleanliness, and low cost - all very good reasons for continuing a family membership. The sense of community is wonderful as well.
