Swim school is great and I love that they have the babysitting location and so many different group classes to offer.
Everyone has been so extremely friendly. The child care while I work out has been so welcoming to my young daughter. We are very please with our membership so far.
So far, it's seeming great for our two kids. They specifically love Maria and Ciara (not sure if I spelled her name correctly)! We attend on Saturday mornings and I can see so much growth in our almost 4-year-old son, specifically. He spent a lot of time the first week sitting on the side of the pool and Maria worked with him so intentionally to build his comfort level. The second week, that sitting on the side time was greatly reduced, and the next time he was in swimming around everywhere and we were shocked! It was incredible. I wondered if it was due to the life jacket for safety week, but last week he was right back in there swimming around on his own with the bubble. We are so impressed with his growth. I think a huge hurdle for him was the pool temperature in those early weeks (and it still can be—we had recently used a heated pool in Florida and he was like a fish), but he's doing so much better.
There are so many programs across all age groups to choose from. The staff is pleasant, helpful, and optimistic in spite of all the many demands of their respective jobs. This facility is always clean. I'm sure there is so much behind the scenes planning that goes into making this a dynamite YMCA. Thank you everyone!

We like the instructors and the consistency of the program. There is a curriculum and a sequence of skills, and we get feedback about where our child's skills are. Everyone is very positive at the Y.

GBY is the best Y I have been to in awhile. Nice pool, nice staff, clean workout areas, enough machines, and great amenities. I could do without people answering their phones while on the machines but hopefully the reminders you have attached to different equipment will be a reminder.
My daughter and son both love their gymnastics classes. The instructors are kind and helpful and work well with both my kids.

I like the amount of time in the water, and letting the children learn proper water safety and diving. The staff are all very nice too. With the water being so cold for the competition pool it would be nice if they could heat or add a heater to the family locker room so the littles are blue and shivering after every class.

The Beverly Y is an excellent facility with plenty of top quality exercise equipment, lots of member activity options and friendly and helpful personnel on site. The locker rooms are always clean and spacious. It's a pleasure to be at the Y!
The swim program has challenged my daughter safely and since she started this fall she is already swimming without a bubble confidently

I love the zumba classes with Ashley Springett. She's perfect at developing moves that are accessible to a variety of levels while still being fun. It's a great mix of dancing + workout!
Our daughter loved her gymnastics class. She found it challenging enough to keep her engaged, but never thought it was too difficult. She trusted her teacher, and had a great time. The show was fun too!
