Member Testimonials
The Y offers many different classes and exercise options.
I play pickleball in the main gym and at the teen center. The people are amazing. People from other Y MCA rave about our pickleball hours .
The Zumba classes are phenomenal! I walk away sweaty, but energized. All of the instructors have wonderful personalities and style of teaching Zumba.
Thank you!
beautiful friendly
one complaint the gymnastics area is kind of smelly, and worry that it could be spreading germs for kids, like on the mats and in the jump pit. Wonder if there is a way to clean alll that.
Thanks
They offer everything. The Y it’s not missing anything that others more expensive gymnasiums are offering.
It’s clean, bright, inviting, and has all the equipment and classes for all types of activities and needs.
I feel lam not missing anything.
Clean, warm water in the pool. Able to get a free swim lane. Clean facility.
I love the Y. Always have. The north shore options give you multiple gyms for use and lots of options for health and wellness. Great classes and facilities and people. The only issue is with the billing. As we have a student home for the summer we add her but when we subtract her we either have to pay extra and she is no longer active or we have to remove her early. So its a lose lose situation. I am not sure why the Y can not prorate the monthly memberships. So this time we paid a extra month after we removed her before the 15th and as soon as we removed her she was not allowed in the gyms even though we were charged for the extra month and she was home until the 1st. Doesn't make sense.
Super nice employees ,great facility .Thank you .
The Y has great facilities and they are always improving. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff, tons of program and equipment variety and strong community. Excellent seasonal / one off events are always enjoyable.

The pool is amazing.
Beautiful facility with many programs and activities for members.
The Y is staffed with friendly, knowledgeable, and caring people. Every staff member that I have spoken with has been very happy to answer my questions. The Y is very clean and seems capable of handling all the different members interests and needs. It’s nice to have the Y so close and offering so much to residents in the area.
I love yoga and the Y offers many options both in types of yoga classes and in times/days. It is also by far the most economical way to practice yoga in person. The teachers are wonderful and you feel part of a yoga community. I also love that the Y offered a free class for the community of the nothshore at Lynch Park this year. What a wonderful way to reach out to everyone and provide this amazing weekly experience all summer!

Staff are always friendly and helpful. The classes are great too! I love the Saturday yoga class at 9am.
Friendly members and staff, beautiful facility, great variety of equipment and classes!
Classes, equipment and light filled space.
Great, well run program!
I enjoy the Simply Strength, Yoga, Zumba, the sauna, and having access to the fitness center as needed.

The swim program this year (for preschool swim) seems more planned out and organized this year. I was talking to someone who uses Goldfish swim school in the Liberty Tree Mall. Their child who is older has been going for 2 years just got off from using a bubble and cannot swim more than 4 feet. It seems that by the end of this year my preschooler will be able to accomplish more, and the price is better. Keep up the good work!
